My husband, Edward Raymond Reed, has devoted his life to serving our country with honor and distinction.
* United States Marine Corps (1979–1984)
Served 5 years of Active Duty Federal Service. 🇺🇸
* United States Army / South Carolina National Guard (1995–2013) 🇺🇸
Served 7 years in an Active Duty capacity, and an additional 13 years completing annual two-week training periods—adding up to 1 more year of Active Duty Federal Service 🇺🇸
Total Active Duty during this period: 8 years. 🇺🇸
* Department of Defense (2016–2021) DCMA
Served 5 additional years of Active Duty Federal Service. 🇺🇸
* Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
Served 2 months in 2022 and 10 months from 2024–2025, totaling 1 year of Active Duty Federal Service. 🇺🇸
In total, Edward has dedicated 29 years of Federal Service to the United States — with 19 of those years spent in Active Duty status.
Beyond his military and federal service, Edward continues to serve his country and community through the Angie & Avery Foundation where he has spent the last four years leading philanthropic efforts that uplift and support others ❤️
Throughout his distinguished career, Edward has received numerous awards for his bravery and service across four continents during wartime and humanitarian missions, including:

My nephew Mike is serving his country in the U.S. Army as a medic in New York 🇺🇸
His brother, my nephew Jayden is serving his country in the U.S. Air Force in Italy 🇺🇸
