After a long year of linking remote communities to healthcare, we came together this week to reflect on our journey, review our performance, and plan for 2026.

Everyone now has clear priorities (rocks) for the first quarter of the year, key actions that will strengthen our teams and the organisation as a whole. With the planning done, we took a day off to play, relax, and recharge together.

🏍️ We’re excited to begin our journey in Nakasongola!

On Tuesday, we met with the District leadership to introduce our community-led Medicycles approach. This marks our first step in to healthcare for families in Nakasongola.

We’re looking forward to signing an MoU in January 2026 and starting a visibility study that will help us understand how best to serve these communities.

Together, we can bring healthcare closer. 💙

We don’t build hospitals; we bring healthcare closer by using the resources already available in the community.
Our outreaches happen in churches, schools, and sometimes in the homes of community members who open their doors so others can access care.

No one should be denied healthcare because of distance or lack of infrastructure.

To make an outreach clinic possible, we rely on three things: government health workers, a community that organises itself, and supporters like you who help us mobilise these communities and provide basic equipment for an enabling clinical environment.

With your support, HAC has now expanded to Namayingo, a fishing community in Eastern Uganda. We successfully held our first integrated outreach clinic, ensuring families living far from health facilities can receive the services they need.

No distance, no terrain, and no lack of infrastructure will stop us from reaching hard-to-reach communities.
