Recovery is stronger when it’s shared.

One of the most powerful tools in sustaining sobriety is peer support. Connecting with others who understand the journey creates accountability, encouragement, and real-life wisdom that helps people stay on track.

Whether it’s a conversation, a meeting, or simply knowing someone else has been there, community can make all the difference in recovery.

At Campbell Recovery Services, we believe lasting sobriety grows through connection.

Substances like tianeptine often called “gas station heroin,” delta 8 THC, and kratom are being sold openly at convenience stores. Many people assume that means they’re safe. They’re not.

These products are unregulated, unpredictable, and linked to addiction, severe withdrawal, seizures, and serious mental health effects.

We broke down the facts, the risks, and what people need to know before it’s too late.

We’re proud to welcome Rachel Robins to Campbell Recovery Services.

Rachel is a Certified Recovery Coach and Interventionist with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals and families navigating addiction and mental health challenges. She specializes in crisis management, recovery coaching, and interventions—meeting people in some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives with compassion, clarity, and purpose.

What truly sets Rachel apart is her lived experience. After more than a decade of her own struggles with addiction and mental health—and multiple treatment experiences—Rachel found recovery through faith, accountability, and a focus on healing the mind, body, and spirit. This journey now fuels her work, allowing her to meet clients with genuine empathy, credibility, and understanding.

Rachel is known for her grounded, solution-oriented approach and her ability to connect authentically with individuals and families from all walks of life. She believes recovery is never one-size-fits-all and is deeply committed to walking alongside clients with guidance, accountability, and hope as they begin their healing journey.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys Pilates, volunteering in her community, and spending time with her family—including her husband, two children, and her beloved animals, which include two Scottish Fold cats and a dog.

We’re honored to have her as part of the Campbell Recovery Services team. 💛

Trauma doesn’t disappear just because someone is ready for recovery.
How care is delivered matters just as much as the care itself.

Trauma informed care focuses on safety, trust, and meeting people where they are instead of asking “what’s wrong with you.” It’s about understanding experiences, not judging behaviors.

At Campbell Recovery Services, this approach shapes everything we do because real healing starts with feeling seen and respected.

👉 Read the full blog to learn what trauma informed care is, why it matters, and how it supports long term recovery.

In this blog post we discuss in detail What is Trauma-Informed Care. At Campbell Recovery Services, we frequently emphasize the importance of meeting people where they are.
