Sarah York, LPC
Sarah brings over a decade of experience to her practice in individual therapy from multiple settings, including equine therapy.
"As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am dedicated to providing evidenced-based, compassionate care that helps clients reconnect with themselves. My work is grounded in safety, curiosity, and collaboration, and my role is to provide a steady presence as we make sense of your experiences together and work toward meaningful, sustainable change. I approach therapy with the belief that each person’s responses and patterns make sense within the context of their unique life story. Rather than focusing on “what’s wrong,” we work to understand your internal world and how your experiences have shaped the ways you cope, connect, and protect yourself.
I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR therapy—evidence-based modalities that support deep, lasting healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational challenges."
