Dallas Jr Mavs Prep team took 2nd place at the Southwest Conference Championship this weekend! Congrats to Evie & Emit for making the All-Tournament Team and shout out to Kaden C, Noah, Peyton, and Evie for being recognized for A/B honor roll!

Most importantly, the whole team played hard and repped the Mavs well with their awesome sportsmanship. Way to make us proud!

Thank you Greenhill School for hosting us once again! Players representing all four Dallas Junior Wheelchair Mavericks teams—Futures, Prep, Varsity White and Varsity Blue—put on a halftime exhibition during a recent Greenhill varsity girls basketball game. (Congrats Hornets on the W!) We have enjoyed this partnership for years and are grateful for the opportunity to share the excitement of wheelchair basketball with the Greenhill community!

This National Girls and Women in Sports Day, we’d like to honor all of the amazing ladies who make up our Mavs organization. From our youngest and feistiest on our futures team, to our preteens and teens making their way on the prep and varsity courts, to our awesome coaches— Darlene, Pam and Taylor who keep pushing our athletes to new heights on and off the court. You make us all proud to be Mavs! NWBA Junior Division National Wheelchair Basketball Association

The ice storm might have kept us off the court, but you won’t catch these Mavs sitting still! Stay warm out there, friends! We’ll be right back to heating up the courts next weekend. 🏀🔥

While our Varsity Blue team was bringing the Texas heat to Wisconsin, the Varsity White and Prep teams wrapped up the MLK Junior tournament with a day full of wins. The Prep team pulled off an exciting win this morning thanks to our MVP, Noah🔥. On the Varisty court, the White team went 2 for 2, winning their final game 46-18.

Two states, 3 teams, 10 wins, and a few dozen incredible athletes and coaches making it all happen.

Huge shout out to WASA - Wisconsin Adaptive Sports Association, Rainier Adaptive Sports, National Wheelchair Basketball Association and all of our fellow athletes and coaches for an awesome weekend of competition!

The Dallas Jr Mavs were tearing up courts all over the country today. The Varsity Blue team went 3 for 3 in day one of the 12th annual Big Cheese Classic, hosted by WASA - Wisconsin Adaptive Sports Association.
Meanwhile in Tacoma, the Varsity White team went 1-1 in two close match ups, and the Prep team won both of their games in convincing fashion at the MLK Jr Tournament, hosted by Rainier Adaptive Sports.
We have another exciting day of play ahead of us again tomorrow! Stay tuned for more updates and highlights.

The Mavs Prep and Varsity White teams converged on Seattle/Tacoma today. The MLK Junior tournament starts tomorrow, hosted by Rainier Adaptive Sports. But first, we had to sight see and eat our way around these beautiful cities. We can’t wait to hit the court tomorrow! 🏀🔥💙
