very beginning… Rita has been there. 🦋✨

Before we had routines.
Before we had rhythms.
Before we even fully knew what this journey would look like…

Rita showed up with her mat, her calm spirit, and her servant heart.

She has faithfully provided healing for our residents since day one — creating space for breathing, stretching, grounding, and reconnecting with themselves. In a world that often feels chaotic, she has consistently brought peace into our home.

They learn stillness.
They learn strength.
They learn how to breathe through hard things.

Thank you for pouring into The Butterfly Way from the beginning. Your presence has been part of our foundation, and we are so grateful for you. 💛

Because healing happens in many ways… and sometimes it starts with one deep breath.

Healing happens in community, not isolation.

Since 2017, VibrantLife Yoga Therapy has partnered with The Butterfly Way recovery residence to provide trauma-informed yoga therapy for individuals navigating substance use disorder, complex trauma, chronic illness, and co-occurring conditions.

This collaboration included:
• Individualized yoga therapy sessions
• Community-building group classes
• Evidence-based breathwork and mindfulness practices
• Somatic tools for emotional regulation and pain management

Participants reported meaningful improvements in mood, quality of life, and physical health — and gained sustainable tools for resilience and self-care.

We are deeply grateful for partners who share our commitment to holistic, trauma-informed recovery.

We’re excited to continue partnering with recovery organizations and treatment professionals. More collaborations coming soon.

We loved welcoming Meredith & Leslie with Twelfth Step Ministries into our home for a tour and meaningful time together.

We shared about our program, learned more about their heart and mission, and talked through ways we can become involved in the incredible work they’re doing in our community. Connections like these remind us just how powerful collaboration in recovery truly is.

Of course, we enjoyed the visit even more with delicious treats from From Susan's Kitchen — because good conversation is always better with something sweet. 💛

We’re looking forward to celebrating their one-year birthday party in the beautiful new building. What an exciting season of growth and impact!

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Michael Joudeh with Promises Behavioral Health into our home for a tour and time to share about our program and heart for recovery.

We swapped stories, talked about the journeys that brought us here, and connected over the mission we both carry — helping people find hope, healing, and a new way to live. Moments like this remind me how powerful community and collaboration truly are.

And of course, the visit wouldn’t be complete without some wonderful food and sweet treats from From Susan's Kitchen to make the time together even more special. 💛

Grateful for the partnership already forming, and excited that we’ll soon be visiting Promises for a tour as we continue building bridges in recovery together. 🦋

Today we had the opportunity to tour Enterhealth’s IOP in Dallas — meeting their incredible staff, learning more about their program, and connecting over a shared passion for recovery and real transformation.

Grateful for spaces and people who are committed to helping individuals rediscover hope, healing, and the lives they’re meant to live. Collaboration in this community matters, and it’s always powerful to see the many ways recovery support shows up across our city. 💙

Galentine’s at The Butterfly Way was pure joy 💗

We ate, laughed until our cheeks hurt, opened the sweetest gifts, and simply enjoyed the gift of each other’s time. Nights like this remind us how powerful connection, friendship, and shared healing truly are.

We were also so grateful to welcome back some of our amazing alums — seeing the beautiful lives they’re building is the greatest reminder of why we do what we do.

Full hearts, full plates, and a whole lot of love. ✨
This is sisterhood. This is recovery. This is The Butterfly Way.

Love in recovery is powerful.
It’s quiet courage.
It’s choosing to stay.
It’s learning—slowly, gently—that you are worthy of the life unfolding in front of you.

At The Butterfly Way, Valentine’s Day is a reminder of the healing love that transforms hearts, restores families, and shows every woman she was created for more.

Today we celebrate growth.
We celebrate second chances.
We celebrate every brave step forward—no matter how small.

And most of all, we celebrate you. 🦋
Because recovery is a beautiful story of hope, healing, and becoming.

Happy Valentine’s Day from The Butterfly Way.
You are loved. You are seen. You are becoming.

Yesterday was a celebration with a little bittersweet woven in.

We celebrated our incredible Director of Housing, Susan Bosse, in BIG birthday fashion — and what a joy it was to honor someone who gives so much love, leadership, and heart to our community every single day. 💛

We also had the privilege of serving alongside so many others in feeding the homeless in downtown Dallas with Daña at their final event. Being part of this beautiful mission has meant more than words can express, and we are so grateful for every moment shared.

While it’s hard to say goodbye to something so special, we are filled with excitement and hope for what’s ahead…

Because what’s next is already beginning.

Planning starts this week — and we can’t wait to see all the good that’s coming. ✨

Yesterday we were honored to welcome Isabella and Gwen from Enterhealth to The Butterfly Way. 💛

We shared more about our women’s sober living programs, exchanged meaningful insight, and continued building the kind of collaborative relationships that truly support lasting recovery. Opportunities like this remind us how powerful connection and shared purpose can be.

We’re excited to speak with their alumni group soon and to tour the IOP facility in the coming weeks — looking forward to all that’s ahead together.

And of course, we made sure to send a little love with custom cookies from From Susan's Kitchen. 🍪✨

Grateful for partnership, community, and the beautiful work of recovery. 🌸
