Center for Vision Health

Center for Vision Health Center for Vision Health is the only full-time nonprofit low vision center in North Texas. We proudly serve the vision health care needs of North Texas.

We provide quality vision care for adults, seniors and children by providing comprehensive, dilated eye exams and prescription eyeglasses to those with Medicaid, Medicare, other publicly-funded programs, or a limited ability to pay for services. Please visit one of our two locations: North Dallas, off I-75 and Walnut Hill, or South Dallas, off Hwy. 67 and Camp Wisdom. We depend heavily on the support of the community. Consider donating to Center for Vision Health by visiting our website or donating directly on our page.

The season of Thanksgiving is the perfect time to reflect on the gifts in our lives:

1) I am deeply grateful for my work-family—each person who supports me and helps our clinic run smoothly while meeting the unique needs of every patient. Your dedication and compassion make all the difference.

2) I am profoundly grateful for my patients. I cherish the smiles and excitement when a new device helps someone reach a visual goal they once thought was out of reach. And I am truly honored to stand beside those who continue to lose vision, whose options are dwindling, yet who still offer a smile, a hug, and a resilient spirit. Your strength inspires me every day.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I am deeply honored to receive the Woman in Health and Wellness Legacy Award. The nomination by the Dallas Filipino Lions' Club means the world to me since we have worked side by side so many early Saturday mornings. This award is a reflection of the many incredible people who have supported, collaborated with, and believed in the mission of providing eye exams and glasses to the children who need them most. Your dedication and partnership make this work meaningful every day and receiving this award strengthens my resolve to continue looking for funding to keep this program running at full capacity. Thank you!

November is Diabetic Eye Disease Awareness Month 👁️💙

👩‍⚕️Diabetic eye disease has no warning signs but can be detected and treated early. Severe vision loss from diabetic eye disease can be reduced by up to 95% when detected early and treated promptly. If you have diabetes, you’re at higher risk for conditions like diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma.

Schedule your annual dilated eye exam to catch problems early!
