Our name is changing: SurgeryPlus is now Lantern.

What to know about our name change:

* You will continue to see the SurgeryPlus name on our member portal, app and website for the remainder of 2024.

* If you call us, Care Advocates will answer the phone as SurgeryPlus through the end of the year.

* If your employer offers SurgeryPlus/Lantern, you will receive benefits information in the mail and by email under the name Lantern at the start of the year.

While our name is changing, you’ll continue to receive support from the same great team and get access to the best surgeons who specialize in the care you need.

Care that’s “too good to be true?” That’s how one patient described their experience with SurgeryPlus.

In healthcare, unexpected surprises aren't typically a positive, but that’s exactly what happened to John when he discovered a benefit he didn't know he had. He was in the process of figuring out how he was going to pay for gastroenterology surgery when he received a flyer in the mail about SurgeryPlus, a benefit he had through his employer’s health plan.

By utilizing SurgeryPlus, he was able to schedule and coordinate his procedure with care advocates assisting at every step of the way. When it came to his procedure, he received “incredible” care from start to finish from his team of providers.

This all happened at no cost for him.
