ANOTHER ONE FOR THE BOOKS! Our lovely patient underwent the 24 hour recovery breast augmentation 6 months ago. Since then, she has lost ~30 lbs. The end result?!? Simply AMAZING!!! 20 YEAR OLD IMPLANTs: When the implants don’t fill you out and feel heavy, it’s definitely time for a change! Our lovely patient is LOVING her new look…her implants are centered and fill her out and don’t feel as heavy after we exchanged the implants and repaired the breast fold and performed a peri-areolar lift. Remember, it can be daunting to undergo a revision but in the end, it’s worth it!!!

PIP IMPLANTS: Every now and then you find a surprise in the OR! PIP implants were discontinued after they were found to be manufactured with inferior materials, specifically NON MEDICAL grade silicone, and high deflation rates. While they were never FDA approved, apparently some patients in the US received them. Check out the surprise Dr. Khan found in the OR while performing a breast revision after her patient presented with an implant rupture!

👻NO SPOOKIES HERE: Complications happen. But much better they happen when YOU’RE prepared. We provide ALL of our patients with cosmetassure, which is essentially postop insurance in case you have to go back to the operating room or need additional care. This way, you focus on healing instead of worrying how you’ll pay. So remember, seek out a board certified plastic surgeon who takes away the “spookies” and has you covered!!!

THE 24 HOUR RECOVERY BREAST AUG FOR THE WIN!!! These cases are some of the hardest because the breast pocket is not well defined and there is very little natural breast volume. SHE HAD GOOD INTENTIONS: But she made some bad decisions…there is really no good reason to leave implants in place for 35 years! Remember, EVERYTHING wears out with time. Our lovely patient had imaging that confirmed bilateral intra-capsular and extra-capsular ruptures. Perhaps more importantly, she had been living with breast pain for the past several years. So, we decided to remove the implants and the free silicone material and the hardened capsules and voila…her pain is gone!!! And she has now returned to a natural breast shape. We couldn’t be happier for her!

Dr. Farah Naz Khan is a board certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon practicing in Dallas, Texas. She performs a full range of cosmetic procedures, including 24 hr. recovery breast augmentation, mommy makeovers, body contouring, post massive weight loss surgery, and facial surgery. She also offers the full spectrum of noninvasive, cosmetic services, including Botox, Kybella, Restylane facial fillers, PRP therapy for hair loss/skin rejuvenation, Bellafill for acne scar treatment, Venus Viva RF for facial resurfacing, and Venus Legacy RF for skin tightening/cellulite reduction.
