Got Squat? When the heels are lifted and the entire foot is touching something, the knees can really bend. Make sure the knees bend just a tad before the hips flex…. This will give a nice load to the quadriceps.
We can’t fear the quadriceps. You also do not have to go low. Do what you can to feel your quads.
The eccentric part is important. The quads lengthening over the kneecap is key for eccentrics.
ALSO. Rather than just bending the knees, we have to really, REALLY, push the floor.
