On October 12th, we said goodbye to our beloved Scooter — sixteen years of joy, loyalty, and love that touched everyone who met him.

Scooter was part of our funeral home family for some years, bringing warmth and quiet comfort to those who crossed his path. He was a constant reminder that love and companionship come in many forms — and saying goodbye to a pet can touch the heart as deeply as losing any other member of the family.

It’s taken us a little while to find the right words, because some goodbyes settle deeper than others. For all who have loved and lost a faithful companion, please know — your grief is real, your love is valid, and the space they leave behind is a reflection of how special they truly were.

El 12 de octubre nos despedimos de nuestro querido Scooter — dieciséis años de alegría, lealtad y amor que tocaron a todos los que lo conocieron.

Scooter fue parte de nuestra familia en la funeraria por algunos años, brindando calidez y consuelo silencioso a quienes se cruzaban en su camino. Siempre nos recordó que el amor y la compañía pueden presentarse de muchas formas — y que despedirse de una mascota puede tocar el corazón tan profundamente como perder a cualquier otro miembro de la familia.

Nos ha tomado un tiempo encontrar las palabras adecuadas, porque algunas despedidas se sienten más profundas que otras. Para todos los que han amado y perdido a un compañero fiel, recuerden — su duelo es real, su amor es válido, y el espacio que dejan es un reflejo de lo especiales que fueron.

It’s a beautiful tribute honoring loved ones who have passed, and we highly recommend stopping by. The art show is free and runs through November 8, 2025.
