Had a wonderful afternoon catching up with my good friends, Ozzie Garcia and Greg Rolfe, over at Sendero Recovery. What a quality sober living with proven principles rooted in the 12 Steps. With a great location and beautiful houses, it’s a place where men can learn to live in recovery. Highly recommend.

We had a the privilege of visiting Jaywalker Lodge for their 20th Anniversary and the Serenity Scramble. What an amazing program set in the foundation of community. Unbelievable experience led by a team dedicated to helping men find purpose and experience life in recovery. Congratulations on 20 years!!!!

Friday, I had the pleasure of touring Momentum Recovery. It was great to meet and talk with such a dedicated team cultivating a culture of community and recovery for young adult men and women. Their passion and mission was evident in every team member I spoke with. If you have a young adult struggling with addiction and mental health, I highly recommend Momentum Recovery!!

P.S. — Morning mediation just hits differently with your toes in the ocean.

His approach to working with families during the recovery process is refreshing. As having had the privilege of working in a treatment center with an amazing team that was so collaborative, had a shared passion, grew together, and felt like family…I know it when I see and feel it. Whether it’s the mens recovery program at Red Oak, the womens recovery program at The Willows, or the adolescent young mens program at Foothills, this team is passionate about what they do and it shows!

And, the scenery? C’mon! Asheville, North Carolina I will see you soon!

Second stop on the Treatment Golf Association is in the books. The TLR Open was a wonderful experience and I am always filled with gratitude after these events. I love being able to spend time with these men, sharing ideas, collaborating, and expanding the pool of resources we can offer to our clients and families. A special thanks to The Last Resort for being the title sponsor and having us out to experience the offerings of their program. What a wonderful team helping men build a foundation for long term recovery.
