Some stories don’t live in history books — they live in the people we care for every day. Mr. Tong Lee is one of them.
Mr. Tong Lee served as a Hmong veteran, alongside U.S. forces during the Vietnam War. In the years that followed, many in the Hmong community were labeled “traitors” for resisting the communist regime — leaving veterans like Mr. Lee without long-overdue recognition in the U.S.
Our Minnesota Hospice team had the privilege of honoring Mr. Lee with a certificate of recognition as part of a Veterans ceremony — surrounded by his loving family.
