Camp Kangaroo brought together children and teens, families, volunteers, and clinical grief specialists last weekend to support young people who are coping with loss in Tampa, Florida. This impactful program was created by AccentCare & the Seasons Hospice Foundation.

The combination of emotional support, shared experiences, and uplifting activities helped campers form meaningful connections — and access bereavement services at no cost.

Thank you, to Spectrum Bay News 9 for spending time onsite and for helping raise awareness of grief resources available to local families in the Bay Area communities.

AccentCare in partnership with the Seasons Hospice Foundation brought another Camp Kangaroo to Florida! This past weekend’s camp in Tampa provided grieving children and teens a space to connect, reflect, and experience moments of comfort surrounded by peers and licensed bereavement professionals.

Through therapeutic activities and play, campers learned how to navigate loss — and families received this support at no cost.

A heartfelt thank you to FOX 13 News - Tampa Bay and FOX 13's Regina Gonzalez for sharing Camp Kangaroo and its grief resources for young people with the local community.
