Avoid Joint Replacement Dallas: Why I Created Regen Experts

For more than 20 years, I practiced traditional interventional pain medicine after fellowship training with Dr. Gabor Racz and Dr. Prithvi Raj.

Those techniques helped many patients. But observing people over decades taught me something important.

Much of modern musculoskeletal medicine focuses on managing pain rather than preserving the joint itself.

Patients cycle through steroid injections.
Nerves are ablated to reduce pain signals.
Eventually many progress to joint replacement surgery.
Those treatments have their place. But the earlier question should often be:
Can the joint still be preserved?

That realization led me to create Regen Experts, a concierge orthobiologic regenerative practice serving Dallas and the Park Cities.

Using precision image-guided treatments such as PRP and bone marrow concentrate, the goal is to support joint structure and function before degeneration reaches the point where replacement becomes inevitable.

My long-term vision is ambitious.

By 2030, I would like to see joint replacements become far less common in patients whose joints remain biologically salvageable.

If you’ve been told you may need joint replacement, the first step is determining whether your joint is still structurally viable.

Avoid Joint Replacement Dallas: Biological Strength — Not the Bionic Woman

If you’re old enough to remember The Bionic Woman, you remember the promise: Harder. Faster. Stronger. But when it comes to your knees and shoulders — is mechanical replacement really the only path? In Dallas, many active professionals assume joint replacement is inevitable. In this video, I discuss a different strategy — one focused on precision image-guided orthobiologic procedures designed to support living tissue before structural collapse. After my own hip replacement, I made a decision: preserve every other joint biologically as long as possible. That commitment shapes how I practice today. If your goal is to Avoid Joint Replacement in Dallas, your first evaluation should reflect that objective.

When pain begins to interfere with performance, the first question many professionals ask is:

“Is it covered by insurance?”

In this video and accompanying blog, I explain why insurance coverage has never been a measure of medical legitimacy — especially in Regenerative Medicine Dallas.

Pain is biological.
Orthobiologic procedures are designed to support biological function.
Insurance decisions are financial — not medical.

For individuals who value excellence, precision, and long-term resilience, understanding that distinction is critical.

Individual results vary. Regenerative procedures are not appropriate for every patient and are determined after medical evaluation.

I’d like to share the story of one of my favorite patients—someone who came to me with significant shoulder pain that was limiting daily activities and affecting quality of life.

After a careful evaluation, we designed a treatment plan using platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, to support the body’s own repair processes within the shoulder joint. This approach is part of what I consider one of the most exciting frontiers in modern medicine—working with the body’s natural biology rather than against it.

Over time, this patient experienced meaningful improvements in comfort and function, and was able to return to activities that had become difficult before treatment. Seeing patients regain confidence in their movement and independence is one of the reasons I chose this field, and it continues to be deeply fulfilling work.

My philosophy is simple: focus on precision, support the body’s own repair systems, and provide care that is grounded in quality, trust, and long-term transformation—not just short-term relief.

If you’re exploring non-surgical options for joint problems, we would be happy to speak with you and determine whether regenerative care is appropriate for your situation.

If you’re searching for ways to avoid back surgery in Dallas, it’s critical to understand that not all orthobiologic treatments are the same.

Orthobiologics should not be a box you check before surgery—and it should never be treated as a side hustle. Done correctly, orthobiologics requires advanced interventional pain management training, precision image guidance, and a philosophy focused on restoring function rather than simply calming pain signals.

Many patients come to me after a joint or spine injection didn’t work—not because orthobiologics failed, but because the underlying torn or lax structures were never addressed. A single needle into the joint space is often not enough.

In this video, I explain:

Why orthobiologics must be the focus, not an add-on

Why experience and precision matter if your goal is to avoid back surgery in Dallas

How restoring function can change the trajectory away from destructive procedures
