“I want an internal bra. I definitely do not need a breast lift.” We hear this all the time. 👀
Here is the truth: an internal bra is scaffolding. It supports the structure inside. But if your ni***es are pointing downward, or there is excess skin on the lower part of the breast, no amount of internal support is going to fix that. You need a lift.
Knowing the difference could save you from a result you are not happy with.

One tool I’m finding increasingly helpful for patients recovering after surgery is hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

In a hyperbaric chamber, patients breathe higher concentrations of oxygen at increased pressure. This allows oxygen to dissolve more efficiently into the bloodstream and reach tissues that are actively healing.

After procedures such as facelifts, tummy tucks, and breast surgery, the body is working hard to restore circulation and repair tissue. Increasing oxygen delivery can help support the healing process.

Many patients experience less swelling, faster recovery, and improved wound healing as a result.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy isn’t necessary for every patient, but for those seeking enhanced recovery after surgery, it can be a very valuable tool.

Your surgeon said it would be simple. It never is. 👀
Revision breast surgery can take 2 to 4x longer than a primary augmentation and for good reason. Loosened tissue, pocket changes, potential mesh placement, skin tightening, a possible breast lift… it all adds up.

A rhinoplasty shouldn’t just look good.
You still have to breathe.

Many of the techniques used to reshape the nose can also affect the airway. For example, reducing the bridge of the nose and narrowing the nasal bones can unintentionally tighten the internal nasal valve, which is one of the most important areas for airflow.

That’s why a good rhinoplasty isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about balancing appearance with function so patients leave with a nose that both looks great and works well.

What is rhinoplasty recovery really like?

If you scroll social media, it can look like patients take off their splint and instantly reveal their final result.

The reality is a little different.

Most patients have their splints removed around one week after surgery. At that point the nose already looks good, but it’s still swollen, and bruising under the eyes is common.

By about two weeks, most people look socially presentable with a little makeup.

But here’s the part many people don’t realize:
the nose continues to refine for up to a year as swelling gradually resolves.

It doesn’t mean you look bad for a year. It just means the nose keeps getting better and more defined over time.

One of the most common questions in rhinoplasty consultations:

“Should I get an open rhinoplasty or a closed rhinoplasty?”

The truth? Most patients don’t need to worry about the technique. What matters most is the surgeon’s ability to create a natural, balanced result.

Many surgeons prefer open rhinoplasty because it allows better visualization and more precise shaping of the cartilage that gives the nose its structure.

Yes, it does involve a tiny incision at the base of the nose. But the scar usually fades so well that, as one of my mentors used to say…

“It’s a scar only dogs and lovers can see.”

Motiva Preservé is one of the most misunderstood approaches to breast augmentation today.

Preservé isn’t simply about a different implant. It’s a different surgical philosophy designed to preserve more of the breast’s natural anatomy rather than separating tissues the way we traditionally do.

Because the procedure is less disruptive to surrounding tissues, many patients can undergo surgery with lighter anesthesia and often experience a smoother recovery with a quicker return to normal activities.

Motiva Preservé works best for patients seeking a natural look with improved shape and fullness rather than a dramatic increase in size.

Before ➡️ After (3 months post-op)

Upper + lower blepharoplasty
Fat grafting to tear troughs
Temporal brow lift with volume to brows & temples

The result?
A smoother lid-cheek junction, brighter eyes, and a naturally refreshed look without appearing “done.”

Blended. Youthful. Rested.

Most patients think eyelid surgery is “just a little skin trim.”

Just a quick bleph.
Just a small procedure.
No big deal.

The truth? Blepharoplasty is small but mighty.

Upper lids are often very straightforward in experienced hands. The transformation can be subtle but powerful. More open. More rested. Still you.

Lower lids? That’s where finesse lives.

Millimeters matter.
Support matters.
Restraint matters.

This is not a procedure that forgives overcorrection. The difference between refreshed and operated can be razor thin.

In this episode of Beauty and the Beasts, Sal and I break down upper vs lower lid strategy, common mistakes, and how to avoid that hollowed or pulled look.

Small incision. Big impact.

Implant exchange + lift + internal support

This patient is 1.5 years out from surgery and her results remain beautifully stable. We downsized her from 350 cc silicone implants to 275 cc moderate profile cohesive gel implants and performed a breast lift with GalaFLEX internal bra support.

By reducing weight and reinforcing the lower pole with mesh, we were able to create a higher, perkier, more refined shape while maintaining long term positioning.

A year and a half later, no implant malposition and a silhouette that looks lighter, thinner, and more athletic.

Sometimes less volume with better support creates the most powerful transformation.
