Self-care doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming.

Sometimes it’s just a few intentional moments to check in with yourself, set a boundary or reach out to someone you trust.

Small steps matter more than we think.

Taking care of your mind is something you can build into your everyday life—one choice at a time.

Give yourself permission to start where you are.

We’re proud to be a Community Partner again for the Dallas International Film Festival ! 🎬

Presented by the Dallas Film Society, Dallas International Film Festival brings bold storytelling, independent voices, documentaries, shorts, and international films to Dallas—creating space for connection, conversation, and community through cinema.

This year, we’re especially honored to speak before the screening of "Werewolf in the Waves" on April 28th at 1:30pm — a powerful documentary from Soleil Moon Frye exploring love, addiction, friendship, and loss through her deeply personal lens, following her relationship with Shifty Shellshock of Crazy Town.

This film opens up urgent conversations around substance use, mental health, grief, and compassion—conversations we believe matter deeply.

Join us in celebrating the power of film to spark dialogue, reduce stigma, and bring people together. We’re grateful to be part of this year’s festival and this important screening.

Art isn’t about perfection—it’s about the courage to create.
Every brushstroke, sketch, and imperfect line carries expression, emotion, and growth. That’s where the real art lives.

At Amplified Minds, our Art Therapy group led by Dallas Art Therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, create freely, and explore what words sometimes can’t reach. Through guided creative expression, participants are invited into connection, reflection, and personal growth—no art experience needed, just openness to show up as you are.

Checking in on someone can make more of a difference than you realize.

A simple conversation, a moment of listening or letting someone know they’re not alone can go a long way.

Support doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be present.

Early care, connection and understanding can change the path for someone who’s struggling.

Let’s keep showing up for each other. 🤍

Some days it’s hard to believe in yourself—and that’s okay.

Growth isn’t loud or perfect… sometimes it’s just showing up, taking a breath, and trying again.

This is your reminder: you don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep going.

Every day is a fresh chance—no matter how yesterday felt. 🤍

Self-care doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful.

Sometimes it looks like a deep breath.
Sometimes it’s a short walk, a glass of water, or a few quiet minutes to yourself.
And sometimes…just getting through the day is enough.

This is your reminder that the little things count.
Every small act of care adds up—mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Check off what you’ve done today, not what you didn’t do. Progress is still progress, no matter how small. 💛

Which ones can you check off today? ✔️

Healing doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.

It’s not always visible. It doesn’t always come with big breakthroughs or clear milestones. Sometimes, it’s quiet. It’s choosing to rest instead of push. It’s setting a boundary. It’s getting through the day when that alone feels like enough.

Even when you can’t see it, change is happening.
Even when it feels slow, you are moving forward.

Be patient with yourself.
Be gentle with your progress.
What you’re doing matters—more than you realize. 💜

Your voice matters—even the one inside your head.

The thoughts you carry, the feelings you sometimes push aside, the things you tell yourself when no one else is listening… they all matter. And they deserve your attention, not your silence.

Listening to yourself doesn’t mean everything is perfect—it means you’re learning to honor what you feel, set boundaries, and show yourself compassion.

If something doesn’t feel right, pause.
If something feels heavy, acknowledge it.
If something feels important, don’t ignore it.

You are allowed to trust your inner voice. You are allowed to take up space. You are allowed to be heard—by others, and by yourself. 💛
