We had an amazing time hosting our Health Fair right here at Terrell Healthcare Center! 🎉💙

Our team came together to open our doors to the community and showcase what makes our care so special. Each department had interactive booths where visitors could ask questions, learn, and see firsthand what we do every day:

👩‍⚕️ Nursing shared insights on resident care, health monitoring, and infection prevention. We also did blood sugar and blood pressure checks open for the public.
🏃‍♂️ Rehab demonstrated therapy techniques and how we help residents regain strength and independence
🍽️ Dietary highlighted nutrition, meal planning, and our 5-star food options
📋 Business Office helped answer questions about admissions, insurance, and Medicaid/Medicare processes

It was a great opportunity to connect, educate, and support our community while showing the heart behind our care. Thank you to everyone who came out and to our incredible team for making it such a success! 🙌

✨ Progress in Motion at Terrell Healthcare Center! ✨

Roger, a long-term resident here at Terrell Healthcare Center, was once able to walk independently with his walker. After experiencing a sudden decline in strength, he faced increased fall risk and difficulty with daily activities.

But Roger isn’t giving up — and neither are we! 💪

With the support of our dedicated therapy team, Roger is now working hard in therapy using a standing frame, focusing on weight bearing, balance, and functional reaching to rebuild his strength and mobility. 👏

Every session brings him one step closer to returning to his prior level of independence — and we’re cheering him on every step of the way! ❤️

🌳☀️ Picnic Day Fun at Terrell Healthcare Center! ☀️🌳

Today was the perfect day to enjoy the sunshine and great company! A group of our residents took a trip to the park for a relaxing picnic filled with laughter and fresh air. 🧺💚

On the menu at the park:
🥪 Chicken salad sandwiches
🌶️ Jalapeño chips & Baked Lays
🍮 Vanilla pudding & snack cakes
🥤 Coke Zero & Sprite

Meanwhile, back at the facility, our residents enjoyed a delicious homestyle meal featuring:
🍽️ Country fried pork over pasta
🥗 Dinner salad
🌱 Green beans

No matter where they were dining, our residents were treated to great food, great care, and great moments together. That’s what makes every day special here! ❤️

We love creating opportunities for our residents to enjoy life both inside and outside our community!

Afternoon outings like this are a great way to keep life exciting and give our residents something new to enjoy together!

At Terrell Healthcare Center, we love connecting with the heart of our community—and what better way than with coffee and donuts! ❤️

This week, our team had the pleasure of visiting our amazing local church partners, First Baptist Church ,St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and TFA church in Terrell, sharing warm cups of coffee, sweet treats, and even sweeter conversations.

Moments like these remind us that it’s not just about care inside our building—it’s about building meaningful relationships throughout our entire community. 🙏

Thank you to both churches for welcoming us with open arms—we are truly blessed to serve alongside such a supportive and caring community!
