🐾💙 A New Beginning… With a New Best Friend! 💙🐾

We had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs. Kimbral to Terrell Healthcare Center, and she brought along the sweetest little companion—Storm! 🐶✨

Mrs. Kimbral joined us from another nursing home, after reaching out directly, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her here. From the moment she arrived, it was clear she was ready for a fresh start—and Storm has made it even more special!

At just 10 weeks old and 2 pounds, Storm is already stealing hearts all around the building 🥰🐾 And most importantly, Mrs. Kimbral is absolutely loving every moment with her new furry friend.

Moments like these are exactly why we’re proud of our nursing home -because companionship, joy, and comfort are such an important part of healing and feeling at home.

Every third Wednesday, Terrell Healthcare Center proudly hosts our beloved Community Bingo, where residents, community members, and our valued community partners come together for an afternoon of fun and connection! 🤝💙

The room is always filled with laughter, friendly competition, and the excitement of shouting “BINGO!” 🎊 With great prizes 🎁 and even greater company, this event is a wonderful way to strengthen relationships and celebrate the vibrant spirit of our community.

We love celebrating the incredible journeys of our residents! 💙

One of our residents was admitted to Terrell Healthcare Center for short-term rehabilitation following a fall that resulted in fractures to both upper extremities. Upon admission, the resident experienced decreased strength, limited range of motion, impaired coordination, and reduced independence with daily activities.

Through dedication, perseverance, and the expertise of our skilled therapy team, the resident has made remarkable progress! 🙌 Notable improvements include:

✅ Increased upper extremity strength
✅ Enhanced coordination and range of motion
✅ Improved mobility and activity tolerance
✅ Greater independence with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, and functional transfers

The resident’s motivation and consistent participation in therapy have played a vital role in achieving these positive outcomes. We are proud to support each resident on their journey toward regaining strength, confidence, and independence.
