I am all about helping you heal and have a healthy lifestyle. Once you experience your first Bowen Therapy session, you will see what all the raving is about that my clients do. Rather than my trying to make the body change, Bowen Therapy subtly prompts the body to do its own healing. This means the body does most of the work -- in response to the stimulation given to the nervous system. This is

achieved because Bowen therapy works on the fascia layer – a structure of connective tissue that surrounds muscles, groups of muscles, blood vessels and nerves, binding some structures together, while permitting others to slide smoothly over each other. When the fascia is stimulated, other body tissues get what they need to heal (e.g. nutrients, water and messages from the brain). Your end result is a re-balancing of all your body's systems and a re-tensioning of the muscles and tendons that may be pulling bones out of place. You get better mobility.
