Big changes can bring big emotions!

Whether it’s becoming a parent, moving to a new place, changing careers or just feeling lost in the “what now?”—life transitions shake up our routines and can make us re-examine our identities.

It’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out. Who does?!

Therapy offers a space to process, grieve, and grow into your next chapter with intention and support.
🐛🦋 You’re allowed to evolve.

New year, same you? Making resolutions or goals or intentions is popular this time of year. The internet is full of Whole 30, Hard 75, 30 day challenges, goal challenges, and growth challenges. All of those things can be great IF they’re where you are in YOUR journey.

Just because the date on the calendar changes, does not mean that you have to change or that you have to be ready to change. Many of us are still in survival mode due to the current state of the world, and it’s ok to continue focus on just breathing if that’s what you need.

If you’re ready to dive in and create and tackle some goals, by all means, go for it! This is just a reminder that it’s OK if that’s not where you are. And if you need to re-read this during the “spring renewal” season, feel free to come back and refresh your memory.

Starting a habit is hard! I encourage my clients all the time to track their thoughts and goals at the beginning and end of the day which is actually easier said than done!
I created the Sunrise to Sunset Tracker as an easy and guided way to get into the habit of checking in with yourself each day. There are 14 days worth of tracking pages to jumpstart your daily tracking habits. After that, you can start another journal or, now that you’ve got the routine down, you can carry on tracking however is easiest for you!

“Saying someone shouldn’t be sad because it could be worse is like saying someone shouldn’t be happy because it could be better.”

Pretty silly when you think about it, isn’t it?

Try not to compare your situation to anyone else’s. Emotions are relative to the person experience them and those feelings do not need to be compared to others’ to be deemed valid.

You are entitled to your emotions and you are allowed to feel exactly as you do; there is no right or wrong.

You are not alone 💙
