I had the thought to share with you a bit of my ritual before Tarot Monday....Since I moved here, I don't have access to a small business florist and I am on a budget so as the time went on, I started to rely more and more on the Nature around me and also growing more and more flowers in my garden which I can also use for Tarot Monday as well as attracting hummingbirds, many butterflies and bees...so in the morning, I go outside and start "being" with Nature and see who calls to be part of the process and the ones calling were the little wildflowers growing all over my "lawn" and one of the Roses (the asparagus were for my meal...funny that I didn't know I had asparagus when I moved in, I thought it was beautiful ferns growing in that spot until last spring when to my surprise and delight, I saw my first asparagus springing out of the ground). Thanks are given to the plant Beings and then cards and flowers are cleansed with Palo Santo or whichever herbs I have on hand. Prayers are sent for the cards to "jump" out to be part of the collective Tarot Monday Community as I shuffle them. So this is a glimpse of the Tarot Monday ritual and I think we are going on 10 years!!!!!!!! WOW
I love the Tarot Monday community especially since I have known SO many of you for so many years 🙏💚🙏

A young girl has gathered her trusted friends for a meeting. The ostrich, leopard, deer, bird and fox each bring something different to her. The ostrich reminds her to walk tall and proud. The leopard counsels her to relax. She tells her that living a hypervigilant life won’t do. The deer argues with the leopard telling her young friend that being aware is not a crime. Safety must come first. The bird just wants to sing and frolic so he tells the girl that she needs to play more. The fox says nothing yet. She waits for the others to speak their pieces.

You are at a point where you need to get more insight from others. A council must be called. Remember that each participant may have his own agenda, just like the animals in this card. And each is right in their own way but it is up to you to filter their input. You should ask for advice, but you don’t always have to take it. Be like the fox. Patiently hear all the messages others bring to you. Then blend what works for you and leave the rest behind. You are the one who will do the work.
