Grouse is a large game bird that is closely linked to a sacred dance and higher mind states. This feather messenger is a powerful symbol of the sacred spiral and the path inward. The Sufis use this form of whirling movement as a way to connect to higher levels of consciousness and higher guidance. Sacred dance has been a part of every society throughout the world. There are many ways in expressing resistance to injustice, not all of us can be at demonstrations, not all of us will be mighty warriors with the pen in hand...some of us will be in the Sacred Space we created, whether internally or externally, and setting up grids to keep raising the energy, provide energetic support, hold the vision of what is true and just... Together, as a whole, by doing whichever part we can (and my soul truly believes that), we can be the change so desperately needed in these times ... everyone's contribution and action will make a difference...also remember, our choices can be loud voices ...
