The reveal is up on this post!! May your card bring you reflection as a tool for your upcoming week...May your week bring you Peace and Compassion 🙏💜🙏
LEFT: ~ COUNCIL ~
Group, Meeting, Advisors
A young girl has gathered her trusted friends for a meeting. The ostrich, leopard, deer, bird and fox each bring something different to her. The ostrich reminds her to walk tall and proud. The leopard counsels her to relax. She tells her that living a hypervigilant life won’t do. The deer argues with the leopard telling her young friend that being aware is not a crime. Safety must come first. The bird just wants to sing and frolic so he tells the girl that she needs to play more. The fox says nothing yet. She waits for the others to speak their pieces.
You are at a point where you need to get more insight from others. A council must be called. Remember that each participant may have his own agenda, just like the animals in this card. And each is right in their own way but it is up to you to filter their input. You should ask for advice, but you don’t always have to take it. Be like the fox. Patiently hear all the messages others bring to you. Then blend what works for you and leave the rest behind. You are the one who will do the work.
Journal Prompts:
*Who are my trusted advisors?
*What is the one thing I need to know?
*How can I make use of the incoming information?
MIDDLE: ~ IDENTITY ~
Recognition, Self-awareness, Examine
A woman wistfully examines a picture of herself as a child. Her rabbit is the descendant of the one in the locket. She remembers her childhood dreams wondering where that little girl has gone. She knew herself once upon a time but now ponders the mystery of her identity. Who was she then and who has she become in this slice of time? All of her questions revolve around both the young person in the picture and the woman she sees in her mirror every day. This isn’t an easy thing she is asking herself, but it is a necessary one.
Who am I? When it comes down to understanding yourself, this is one question we must all ask of ourselves. The person we were at eight years of age was vastly different from the person who celebrated her eighteenth birthday. This is a good thing! What this card brings to us is the knowledge that we can remake our own identities at any point. We are not locked into the framework of our current self. There are things we must examine carefully to determine what is working and what is not working. The masks that we all wear can be changed. You have the power to see yourself as you would be seen. Dive into the depths of who you can become.
Journal Prompts:
* Who do I see myself as right now?
* Who do I want to become?
* What do I need to change?
RIGHT: ~ TOGETHERNESS ~
Loyalty, Fellowship, Bonding
Leopards, lions and the ordinary house cat join in a walk in the woods. The brilliant peacock perches overhead. The woman walks barefooted so her feet can feel the connection of the grass and ground against her soles. The message of this card is one of gathering and bonding with those of a like mind. The house cat and wild cats are far apart in size and in personality, but here they are joined together for the same purpose — a gathering of friends. It’s a blessing to have a variety of confidantes.
Remember your friends are not all alike. Rejoice in their differences because you are reflected in their eyes. Let your primary mission be to bring others together rather than drive them apart. You are the glue that holds your group together. Understand that the project at hand will be better for those you bring to work on it. It’s not a good time to try to fly solo because you will need the minds and hearts of those around you. Bringing a variety of people will add value to anything you do. Swift thinkers like the leopards can be steadied by the practical nature of the house cat. The peacock will be your big picture types. Lions can organize the group to get things done. Don’t forget the heart of the group as well. You are surrounded by these beautiful people because you are as important to them as they are to you.
Journal Prompts:
*Who can help me with my current project?
*What energy will bring the most value to my world?
*How do I emulate each of these creatures?
