If you’ve been scheduled for a CT scan, it’s completely normal to have questions. At Southwest Diagnostic Center for Molecular Imaging, our compassionate and highly trained CT technologists are here to guide you every step of the way.
A CT scan is a painless imaging exam that typically takes between 5 and 30 minutes. During your scan, you’ll lie comfortably on a table that gently moves through the scanner. You may hear instructions through an intercom and be asked to briefly hold your breath to ensure clear images.
In some cases, contrast material may be used to enhance image clarity. Our team will carefully review your medical history and allergies beforehand to ensure your safety and comfort.
Since 2003, we have proudly provided comprehensive CT imaging to patients throughout Dallas and across the nation. If you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call us at (214) 345-8300.
