I always feel honored when students ask me for a shadowing opportunity to get to see how my job is on a daily basis. It’s always fun teaching them about why I love orthodontics and showing the business side of the office that they don’t teach in school.

It’s an even bigger honor when one of your former patients, who just received their dental assisting license and is going to apply to dental school soon, calls you up and wants to shadow!

Alright folks it’s that time of the year again!! It’s time for the annual Dallas Orthodontics 2026 NCAA Bracket Challenge. Please do not use the old pool of last year. It’s Spring Break y’all! We hope all of our patients and their families have a safe and enjoyable Spring Break. Whether you are traveling far, close by, relaxing at home, or working, we hope you have a great one.

Our office will be closed next week but someone will be answering the phones and text messages. If you have an orthodontic emergency, one of our team members will guide you or have you visit an office that we have an agreement with to see our emergency patients while we are out.

And this was before all the snow last night! We will be closed on Monday the 26th to keep our families, patients, and team members safe in this crazy weather.

We wanted to give all of our patients and their families a heads up! We are in the office tomorrow seeing emergencies and taking scans, however, we will be out of the office the remainder of the year starting Christmas Eve. We have luckily partnered with an other orthodontic office that has graciously agreed to see any orthodontic emergencies you may have. If you have any urgent issues that need immediate attention, please call Walnut Central Orthodontics at 214-692-5688 and they will be able to address your concerns. What a crazy busy week! We wanted to wish everyone a safe and fun Thanksgiving. Enjoy spending time with friends and family and be safe on all of your journeys. We are closed the rest of the week but we will be back in the office on Monday December the 5th.

They’re all part of the best ortho team ever! We wanted to wish y’all a Happy Halloween and do your best not to eat too much sticky candy!!

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that one of our former orthodontic assistants Anna has suddenly passed away. Anna was a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and co-worker. She was there for the start of Dallas Orthodontics and helped us to build a following in the community.

We remember her fondly for her fun attitude, her ability to relate to patients and their families, and her stories about her husband and daughters. She was a great co-worker and she will be greatly missed.

Okay we lied….just one more summer photo.
Thanks Ainsley for visiting the DMZ of North and South Korea. She had to enter a tunnel that puts you only 170 meters (558 feet) away from the border of North Korea. The DMZ is 6,771 miles away from Dallas.
