🎓 Student Spotlight! 🎓

We’d like to give a big thank you to Logan Bindulsky, a senior at Lake-Lehman High School, for choosing The Meadows Manor as part of his Senior Project! 💙

Logan jumped right in and helped with so many of our favorite events — from our Summer Barbecue Party and Food Truck Friday competitions to our Father’s Day Party, Grandparents Day, “Table o’ Treats” and Cash Bingo Fundraiser. His positive energy and kindness made a lasting impression on residents and staff alike.

Logan plans to attend Misericordia University to study Physical Therapy, and we know he’ll make an incredible impact in the field! 🌟

Thank you, Logan, for being such a wonderful part of our Meadows family — we’re cheering you on every step of the way! 👏💛

✨ A Success Story from The Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center ✨

This past Memorial Day, Tammy faced a major challenge after sustaining a serious ankle injury (a bimalleolar fracture). After several months of treatments, surgeries, and complications, it became clear that an amputation would offer her the best chance for healing and a better quality of life.

Tammy chose The Meadows for her continued medical care and skilled therapy—and we were honored to be part of her journey. 💜

Through her strength, determination, and the exceptional care of our rehab and nursing teams, Tammy made incredible progress. She’s now back home with her husband, continuing her healing journey with confidence and independence.

We’re so proud of Tammy and the compassionate team that helped her reach this milestone! 💪🏡

🍂 A Heartfelt Thank You from The Meadows! 🍂

We had such a wonderful time at our Harvest Tea this past weekend! 🌾✨
Hosted at the beautiful Irem Clubhouse, we welcomed over 60 guests for an afternoon filled with laughter, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and of course — plenty of delicious food and tea! ☕🥧

All proceeds from our Harvest Tea directly benefit the residents of The Meadows, helping us continue to provide meaningful programs and activities that enrich their daily lives.

🎖️ Honoring Our Veterans at The Meadows Manor 🇺🇸

Yesterday, we gathered for a heartfelt Veterans Day ceremony to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. ❤️

A special thank you to the Harveys Lake American Legion, Daddow-Isaacs American Legion(Dallas) and Reverend Dennis Gray and his wife for making this day so meaningful for our residents. Your words, music, and presence brought warmth and gratitude to everyone in attendance.

🎵✨ Moments like these remind us of the courage, sacrifice, and love that make our community so special.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans at The Meadows 🇺🇸

Our hearts are full after a wonderful few days celebrating our Veterans! ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Serenity Hospice for taking the time to honor our heroes last Friday with a beautiful Veterans Pinning Ceremony. The residents truly enjoyed the delicious cake and refreshments—and most of all, the kindness and appreciation shown to them.

Then, on Veterans Day, our amazing team members and volunteer Mike (a Veteran himself!) personally thanked each of our Veterans at the Nursing Center with special boutonnieres. Their smiles said it all — they felt the love, the gratitude, and the pride that filled the day.

We are so grateful for our Veterans and for everyone who helped make these moments of appreciation so meaningful. 💙❤️

The Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center was voted “Best Nursing Home”, and The Meadows Manor was voted “Best Personal Care/Continuing Care Retirement Community” — for an incredible 18 years in a row in the Times Leader Best of the Back Mountain! 🏆🌟

These honors mean so much to us because they come from you — our residents, families, team members, and neighbors who continue to support and trust The Meadows year after year.

From all of us at The Meadows, thank you for allowing us to care for you and your loved ones. Your support truly makes our community the best! 💚🏡

The Meadows hosted our first annual Cash Bingo this past Saturday at St. Maria Goretti’s Parish, and it was a huge success! We were thrilled to welcome over 200 attendees for a fun-filled day of raffles, 50/50 drawings, delicious food, instant bingo — and of course, lots and lots of BINGOS! 😄

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing team members, volunteers, and community who made this event possible. Your energy, generosity, and support truly made the event special. 💜

All proceeds from directly benefited the residents of The Meadows, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Here’s to making this an annual tradition! 🙌
