I love talking with my clients about the Ayurvedic clock.

It’s such a fun, simple way to support the body’s natural rhythms and take advantage of the natural energy of each phase of the day.

When I first learned about the Ayurvedic clock, these were the changes I made right away:

My lunch time and bedtime. I began eating my largest meal during the Pitta time of day (12-2pm) when my digestive fire (agni) is at its peak. This helps me to avoid overeating at dinner time, which also supports better sleep!

Going to bed earlier during the Kapha time (before 10pm). Going to bed earlier helped me to avoid the Pitta time which can usually cause us to get a “second wind” of energy. This results in staying up too late and not getting the rest and sleep my body needs.

Your ideal rhythm will look different than someone else’s, and that’s where personalized support can be really helpful. We explore this together in an initial consultation 🌿

This is peak allergy & pollen season right now in Dallas!

I’ve had multiple clients mention their allergies in the past few weeks during consultations. One of the things I’ve either brought up or reminded them of is that how we eat can actually have a really big impact on how we experience allergies.

The simplest way to eat for the season (we’re in Kapha season), is to eat local, in-season foods.

But grocery stores can make this tricky…
It’s not always obvious what’s truly in season when everything is available year-round.

I sometimes hear things from retreat attendees like, “I’m still not drinking coffee!” and “I do these practices every day, to this day.”

That’s because (as I like to say) the retreat is similar to one of our cleanses on steroids!

🌴 You’re moving your body every day, syncing back into a natural rhythm, and remembering what it feels like to live in true alignment.
🌴 You don’t have to think about cooking and nourishing meals are prepared for you - fresh, local, and Ayurvedic.
🌴 Spending time in nature and away from constant stimulation and the noise of everyday life — social media, phones and computers — allows your nervous system to soften, reset, and truly exhale.
