Mental Health Awareness Month begins in May, and we are thrilled to welcome Leah Ondiek on May 8th for a look at practices that benefit both counselors and their clients. 💜

Join us for "Mindfulness in a Noisy World: Somatic & Mindfulness Practices for Busy Practitioners" as we tackle the emotional demands, multitasking pressures, and growing sense of internal noise that many mental health professionals and victim service providers face.
🧠 Participants will leave with tools to calm the body, refocus the mind, and restore balance without needing an hour-long meditation break in their day.
💡 Key takeaways include body-based grounding, quick reset strategies, and principles for integrating mindfulness seamlessly into clinical practice and supervision settings.

On this first day of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, we are honored to announce our 5th Annual Female Survivors of Violence Conference keynote speaker: Jess Michaels
A survivor.
An advocate.
A powerful voice for truth and accountability.

Jess Michaels Speaks is a TEDx speaker, survivor-advocate, and founder of 3Joannes, Inc., where she created 3Js Sexual Assault First Aid Kit™ and the Social Safety app. A 1991 Jeffrey Epstein survivor who has lived with PTSD for more than 30 years, Jess translates lived experience into practical, trauma-informed tools that teach communities how to respond to sexual harm with care not confusion. Her work reframes sexual assault as an injury before it’s an investigation, with the goal of preventing long-term trauma through immediate, compassionate human response.

We are beyond grateful for the Aibtikar Foundation and their generous sponsorship and passion for Trauma Support Services’ mission that made this possible!
