Via Zoom they will speak alongside Dr. Laney Knowlton and Dr. Brian Martin about the benefits of conjoint therapy for clinicians who treat Problematic S*xual Behaviors (PSB) and betrayal trauma.

Both Dr. Dina Hijazi and Rev. Daniel Gowan are ready to share their insights and provide attendees a good understanding for how to sustain partnerships and enhance their clinical practice, focusing on long term collaboration with an emphasis on financial and operational logistics.

Once we learn how to have influence over our feelings, we can began to influence how our behaviors as well.

You are responsible for your feelings.

While we all know this to be true, many of us still struggle yo feel as though we have any control over how we feel.

As we continue exploring living with our reality, we start understand that it is the story we tell ourselves that dictates the feeling we have about an event.

In order to influence how we feel, we must examine the stories we tell ourselves and begin to change the narrative.

We do have control over the story we tell ourselves.

While we interpret data based on what we’ve learned from our family of origin, we are capable of interpreting this data differently by understanding the stories we tell ourselves.

This requires consciously taking a step back and looking at these stories from a third person point of view. It’s not easy, but, with the right help, healing is possible.

How are you interpreting your data?💭

When our brain is presented with a piece of new information, it immediately begins trying to make sense of the information and integrate it into our knowledge.

If we’re not careful, we can misunderstand, leading to difficulties in communication and connection. Stay tuned for tips on how to be intentional with your interpretations.
