National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NNHAAD) is held on the first day of Spring—a time for renewal, healing, and community! Since 2007, NNHAAD has empowered Native communities with vital education and awareness about HIV and AIDS. This year's theme is "From Ceremony to Action: Renewal, Respect, and Collective Strength."

On this day, we encourage all Native communities to plan events to promote HIV testing and share important information about HIV and AIDS. Today, we stand together to raise awareness about the impact of HIV and AIDS on women and girls, support those affected, and empower our communities.
