Congratulations to Stacy Truitt, our February Volunteer of the Month!

For nearly 3 years, Stacy has faithfully served our McKenna Farms community — leading horses, side-walking, filling in for feeders, and helping with horse shows and festivals. When asked why she volunteers, her answer says it all: “I am thankful to have a place like McKenna Farms in my community and I want to do my part in making sure we continue to have this amazing resource!”

Stacy just loves being around the horses and watching the connection and positive impact they have on clients. She refuses to officially pick a favorite (we respect that), but if she absolutely had to… she admits Chevy might have a special place in her heart.

We are so grateful for volunteers like Stacy who make our mission possible every single day. Please join us in congratulating Stacy for being chosen as our February Volunteer of the Month!

Thank you to everyone who voted, shared, and supported our Sweetheart Campaign! Every $5 vote helps provide life-changing therapy services for the children and families we serve right here in our community.

This year’s competition was close, and all of our horses felt the love — but one special horse captured the most hearts.

In second place, we had a tie -- congratulations to ELVIS & PEACHES! And in third place, is our GLORY!

Your support helps us provide the highest level of care for our special equine partners so that they can continue to assist our therapists and riding instructors in providing physical, occupational, speech, and adaptive riding services to more than six hundred families each year.
