We’re incredibly honored to share that McKenna Farms Therapy Services has been named "Nonprofit of the Year" by the Paulding Chamber of Commerce at their awards gala this past weekend.

This recognition is a reflection of the amazing children and families we serve, our dedicated therapists and staff, our volunteers, supporters, and the entire community that believes in our mission. Every day, we have the privilege of helping children and young adults reach their fullest potential.

Thank you to the Paulding Chamber for this meaningful honor, and thank you to everyone who continues to support McKenna Farms. We share this award with each of you!

Please join us in celebrating Shelly Salord, our March Volunteer of the Month at McKenna Farms!

Shelly has been volunteering with us for an incredible 23 years. Over the years, she has filled so many important roles, including feeding, sidewalking, leading, and even serving as a volunteer coordinator. Her dedication and heart for McKenna Farms have made a lasting impact on our community.

When asked why she volunteers, Shelly shared:
“I think after all of these years, it’s just become such a part of my heart. I’ve never seen community, kindness, and miracles happen anywhere like they happen here regularly.”

As for favorite horses? Shelly says she currently has 13 favorites! Over the years, Andre was her heart horse, and Mocha was her little buddy for about 20 of her 23 years.

Shelly, thank you for your years of service, your compassion, and the love you bring to McKenna Farms. We are so grateful for you!
