Hoyle Historic Homestead The Hoyle Historic Homestead is Gaston County’s oldest home. It dates back to circa late 1700's and is located 1214 Dallas Stanley Highway in Dallas, NC

In 1991, the site was purchased by Hoyle Historic Homestead Inc. in order to ensure it's historic preservation and restore this very important part of regional history. In 1993 it was placed on the National Historical Register.

This Saturday (September 13th) from 10 to 2 The Hoyle Historic Homestead (www.hoylehomestead.org) is hosting our annual fall Open House. Please come visit the oldest home in Gaston County and learn about The Homestead's unique history. In addition to touring the home you can visit the historic themed vendors, enjoy live music provided on the back porch by the Crystal Fountains, visit the food truck or utilized our brand new restrooms. We are also thrilled that our Memorial Garden is being repaired and once again the gravestone of Andrew Hoyle (1771-1857) will stand tall and proud. I hope some of you can visit us this Saturday. The Homestead is located at 1214 Dallas-Stanley Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034-9461.
