Dallas ISD Food & Child Nutrition Services is deeply grateful to the Dallas Education Foundation for donating $53,807 to support our Break Meals program. This generous contribution helps us ensure students continue to have access to nutritious meals when school is out.

We also extend our appreciation to the donors whose generosity made this gift possible, including , , , , CSRS, Westwood Company, J.B. & Co., Joesta Construction, , , and TeamRatcliff. Their support directly impacts the wellbeing of our Dallas ISD families.

Pink Power! FCNS Staff Close Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a Walk of Awareness! 💖

What an incredible finish to our week of action! The FCNS staff, championed by Maria Luna, completed the first-ever FCNS Walk of Awareness today, closing out our acknowledgment of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

All week, staff showed their support by incorporating pink shades into their daily dress, culminating in this unifying walk. A big thanks to the Food Bus for joining us with a special menu!

The perfect finish to the first-ever FCNS Walk of Awareness Week! 🩷

Closing out Breast Cancer Awareness Month with this walk was a moving moment for all involved. The support and spirit shown by the FCNS staff all week—decked out in pink attire—has been truly inspiring. Staff member Maria Luna and the entire team are incredibly proud of the high level of participation.

Huge thanks to the amazing Food Bus for keeping everyone fed and happy with a special menu. This week was about more than just a color; it was about community, early detection, and hope.
