massage by jay I am a massage therapist , love what I do , its my passion We tend to live in our head most of the day. Deeper pressure can be applied with thumbs or elbows.

The most aggressive part of my typical massage is on the back/ upper shoulders and then the massage becomes a little more relaxing. I try to get the deeper work done first so by the end of the massage the person on the table is very relaxed and has that "glazed" look in their eye. I like to refer to this state of mind as "massage intoxication."I believe a good massage is done slowly. I like using long and slow body strokes which provides opportunity to connect the person on the table with their body. A slow and relaxing massage gets the individual back in their body which opens up a whole new experience to the wonderful sensation of touch. Sometimes deep touch is needed to workout tension in muscles. Deeper is not necessarily better but is sometimes necessary to release the tension in a stubborn muscle. Trigger point work may also be included when one's muscles are tense and stressed. Bottom line... the massage experience can be customized to the preference of the individual on the table and how the body responds during the massage.. Music... Music also enhances the massage experience. I have a range of music from classical to new age to jazz to a blend of folk music from the 70s. You are welcome to bring your own music. I have a very relaxing room in a 100 year old house in the Dallas area for your comfort .
