FRONT OFFICE COORDINATOR: Sharing the tasks with the front-office associate, the core responsibilities for this position include patient check-in and check-out, treatment-planning, scheduling appointments, performing all aspects of PPO insurance/Medicaid/Chips, Care Credit, end of the day balancing etc.

Dear patients, please see below for the latest information from the Texas Dental Association. We appreciate you continuing to wear a mask in our office when not being treated by Dr. Ramos.

Yesterday (May 13), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued recommendations on how fully vaccinated people can protect themselves and others. (Click here for the recommendations: http://bit.ly/CDC-Guidance-5-13-21 ) According to the CDC, fully vaccinated individuals can resume activities without wearing a face mask or physically distancing, except where required by law or regulations, including local business and workplace guidance. The CDC considers individuals fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

Governor Abbott’s executive order GA-34 reopening Texas remains in effect (click here to read—opens as PDF: http://bit.ly/TX-EO-Reopening ). TDA spoke with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) yesterday, and the dental board confirmed that their COVID-19 emergency rule also remains in effect. The TSBDE stated they are not planning any changes to the emergency rule before it expires on June 18, 2021, unless directed to do so by the Governor’s office. The dental board will reconvene on June 18, 2021, and may decide to extend the rule for an additional 60 days if Governor Abbott renews the COVID-19 disaster declaration.

Dental Office position FRONT OFFICE COORDINATOR—

Candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish), have excellent customer service skills, be pro-active and enthusiastic. We are a private practice and many of our patients have been with us 20-30 years and refer their friends and family. Daily we provide great customer care with a smile and a servant’s heart.

Key qualifications and requirements needed for this position:
-BILINGUAL, English/Spanish
-patient check-in, check-out and scheduling
-proficiency with all aspects of PPO insurance, Child Medicaid and Chips, Adult Medicare
-treatment planning & great communication skills with case presentation and financial arrangements
-computer proficiency and experience with Easy Dental or Dentrix

EXPERIENCE: This future team member has at least 3 years of current dental experience.
~Cross-trained in dental assisting is a plus~

Characteristics:
Courteous, has a strong work ethic and is teachable. Reliable, timely, organized, and a non-smoker. Daily well-groomed professional appearance. Dependable daily transportation.

Our office is open Mondays-Thursdays from 8AM to 5PM and one ½-day Friday every other month.

At this time we offer:
