I am so very proud of this team and am thankful to the owners of AmeriSports for creating the opportunity to build this club. I am also thankful to Maggie Younger and all of her sacrifice to build this club and to my amazing assistant coach, Kiarra Dailey. Most of all to God be the Glory!!

I am thrilled to announce a new record for perfect sets. A perfect set, as we call it in our lessons, is a set to either pin that lands in a ball cart placed parallel to the net at the pin position. The setter attempts to set as many consecutive "perfect" sets as she can. Last month, Cali Phillips set the new record at 49 consecutive perfect sets! She is an amazing person and player whom I am blessed to be able to work with her. She trains at the AmeriSports Rockwall facility where I conduct my lessons. I am excited about the upcoming season. However, right now, I am focused on my current 14U Navy team. We are hoping to double qualify at the ShowMe Qualifier. (we took 1st place in the Liberty division at MEQ).

A couple of days prior to my rotator cuff surgery, I conducted a lesson with Bethanie Wu. At that lesson (at AmeriSports) Beth set the record for perfect sets to the RH position with 31 consecutive perfect sets!! That is amazing! It is exciting when an athlete uses their knowledge, athelitic abilities and trusts the techniques they have been taught to reach their goals. Last week, Jordyn Moore, set the new record for perfect sets by jump setting 40 consecutive volleyballs into the ball cart. The ball cart is approx. 2' wide. Using the techniques that she has learned, she was able to consistently jump set 40 volleyballs into the ball cart located in Zone 4 positioned on the sideline. The previous record was 28 consecutive volleyballs which was also held by Jordyn!

We are excited to announce the newest member of the 40 mph Float Serve Club! In her last lesson, Tori Garrett hit more than 3 amazing floats at speeds that were consistently 40 - 42 mph! I so excited to see her not only serve at this speed but with accuracy!

So very proud of these players and Coach Robin for all of their hard work and effort to accomplish the goal of winning 1st Place in the Gold Bracket at the Adidas Dallas Open! Thank you to our amazing parents for all of their support, encouragement and cheering for our team.

Hutch Camp is a volleyball camp for girls who want to either learn the basics of volleyball or develop advanced skills. It is a time for girls to have a lot of fun and learn the game of volleyball at the same time. The players are divided into groups with girls of similar abilities.

We are so excited to introduce the newest member of the Hutch Volleyball 40 MPH Club! Maddie Holden was able to serve 3, 40+ mph float serves in one lesson. She has worked hard to accomplish this and did so after only a few lessons. Way to go Maddie!! Sandra Whisenhunt Holden

Anna became a member of the 40 MPH Float Club several weeks ago but I never posted her picture. This picture is taken from her most recent lesson where she consistently served 40 MPH floats. So very proud of all her hard work to accomplish this. She is not only serving strong but also accurately!
