PRP vs PRF — What’s the difference?
Both PRP and PRF use your own blood to stimulate collagen, improve skin quality, and support natural regeneration — but they’re prepared differently and behave differently in the tissue.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma):
• Spun at a higher speed
• Higher platelet concentration
• Liquid consistency
• Releases growth factors quickly
• Well-studied for hair restoration, acne scars, and skin rejuvenation
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin):
• Spun at a lower speed
• No anticoagulant
• Contains fibrin + white blood cells
• Slower, sustained release of growth factors
• Often used for under-eye rejuvenation and healing-focused treatments
Both deliver natural, refreshed results — the right choice depends on your anatomy, concerns, and goals.
