Three baby boys so far this year 💙💙💙

This sweet arrival marks our third boy of the year - and another incredible first-time mama stepping into her strength.

She prepared, trusted and showed up with such determination for her birth. Every step, every decision, every moment - she did exactly what she needed to bring her baby into the world.

Welcome, little one. You are so loved already.

There is something so powerful about watching a woman become a mother - raw, intentional and beautifully strong. We are honored to witness it. 🤍

There’s something so bittersweet about final postpartum visits. 🥺

We celebrate how far our mamas have come - stronger, more confident, deeply in tune with their bodies - and at the same time, it’s hard to say goodbye after walking so closely through such a sacred season.

One of our sweet clients shared that this was her easiest postpartum yet… and the difference? Preparation. She stayed consistent with her supplements, supported her body and truly took the time to address underlying deficiencies and it showed in her energy, her recovery and her overall well-being.

This is exactly why we do what we do! 🥰

When mothers are supported, nourished and prepared, postpartum doesn’t have to feel like survival mode - it can be a time of healing and strength.

To this incredible mama: it has been such an honor to walk alongside you in this season. We are so proud of you and will be cheering you on every step of the way. 🫶

While Bethany was on sabbatical when this sweet baby boy made his arrival, we didn’t want this special family to go unrecognized. Mom and Dad were in wonderful hands with our amazing Inna by their side.

As first-time parents, they stepped into this journey with so much courage and trust. Mom was an absolute powerhouse during a quick and beautiful delivery, welcoming their little one with incredible strength and grace.

It has truly been an honor for our team to walk alongside this family as they welcomed their very first baby.

Welcome to the world, little one. You are already so loved. 💙

Back from sabbatical and already reminded why we love this work. 💙

Our first birth of 2026 was for a wonderful family welcoming their second baby and first baby boy. Mom labored beautifully through a fast and furious birth, showing such strength and determination. It is always an honor to witness these powerful moments.

Welcome to the world, sweet boy.

At the heart of pregnancy and birth is a woman - her body, her intuition, her strength.

This International Women’s Day, we honor women in all seasons of life and we are grateful to walk alongside them through pregnancy, birth and beyond.

Celebrating women. Trusting birth. Supporting life.

Meet this sweet little guy! 💙 He came in with his parents for mom and baby’s 6-week postpartum check up and we are so thrilled to see him growing and thriving! His parents are over the moon and you can just feel the joy radiating from this happy family. 🥰

A huge shout out to Inna, who supported this family through most of the pregnancy and was right by mom’s side for her quick and beautiful home birth. Your care and presence make all the difference! 💕 We are so proud of Mom for all of her hard work bringing this cutie into the world and Dad who supported her the entire way.

Here’s to health, happiness, and many more snuggles! 👶🩵

We are back in the rhythm of home visits and our hearts are so full! 💞 There is nothing quite like being welcomed into someone’s sacred space, hearing their hopes, their stories and the beautiful details of their birth plans. It is such an honor to be invited into this season of anticipation and trust.

Also, a huge shoutout to our amazing student midwife, Rosabeth. 🥰 She didn’t make it into the photo but she was with us for most of the day, showing up with such warmth and care. So grateful for the hand and hearts that make this work so special!

We are beyond grateful! 🥰

Thanks to you, our amazing moms and families, two of our midwives (Bethany & Becky) were reader-nominated as Mom-Approved Women’s Healthcare Providers and are featured in the February/March issue of DFW Child!

Being “Mom Approved” means everything to us because our care has always been centered around you - listening, supporting, advocating, and showing up with compassion and evidence-based midwifery care every single day. This recognition is a reflection of the trust you place in us and we don’t take that lightly!

Thank you for your votes, your kind words and for allowing us to walk alongside you through such important moments. We’re honored to once again carry the title of “Mom Approved” and will continue doing what we do best - caring for moms with heart, skill and respect. 💞

We are over her swooning over all the 2026 babies already! 🥺🥰 Our calendar is getting nice and cozy since most of our 2026 spots are already spoken for. To translate, this means appointment days are booking up quickly - often a month in advance!!

Once our spring babies start making their grand entrance (into a little warmer world, hopefully 🥶) things should open up a little bit more but if you’re hoping to book a consult, initial visit or preconception visit, don’t delay!

Appointment inquiries can be sent to our admin staff by email (admin@northtexasmidwifery.com) or text (817-402-2659).

We can’t wait to meet you!

⭐️This past Monday we had our biennial neonatal resuscitation and CPR renewal as a group. It’s so important to renew for the sake of our muscle memory but also to hear the latest updates. There can be new evidence for what is most effective in a resuscitation + new technology and equipment that may be helpful or make resuscitation easier. 💪 Emergencies are not something we look forward to but being prepared and ready to act when needed is what makes home birth a great option for a lot of families. 🎉 We set up our equipment for neonatal resuscitation at every birth. It is needed in about 5% of cases and can’t always be predicted. ✅ Ask your midwife at your next appointment if you have any questions about routine newborns care. Don’t forget that there is more information in our free orientation course “are we home birth compatible?” On our website as well! If you are considering home birth, this is a great resource and accessible to anyone. We cover more information on emergencies at home births including neonatql resuscitation. 💕 Thank you to Courtney for facilitating! We appreciate you! 😍
P.S.: I think we all agreed that Lainey, Becky’s baby, was the best part of the whole training! Love getting to spend a whole day with her.
