These cuties came in with their mom for a routine postpartum visit. It’s hard to put postpartum visits into words. I love the visiting, catching up, processing the birth, hearing how you are doing. It is even more special with families that you have the honor of walking with more than once. 🎉 Thank you for inviting us into such a sacred time and sharing your journey with us. Merry Christmas, dear friends! 🎄

As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we are pausing to give thanks - for our Savior, for the gift of new life, and for the sacred privilege of walking with families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.

We pray your Christmas is a silent night in the very best way - full of peace, rest, and holy moments that point us back to the Light of the world.

A gentle reminder:

🌟 Admin staff will be out of the office December 24th–26th. All admin-related texts and emails will be returned on Monday, December 29th.
🌟 Our urgent line remains available 24/7 for all pregnant clients and postpartum clients (up to 6 weeks postpartum).

✨ She did it! ✨
A lot of you have been asking for the stats and she was happy to share! Sweet Midwife Becky had a beautiful birth! Active labor was about 4 hours, not her shortest labor but not her longest either. Her First girl and smallest baby, weighing 8lbs 5oz. Labor started in the early morning hours and Lainey made her arrival at 8:39am. 🎉

It was her second home birth and her very first water birth, and she powerfully caught her own baby with the same calm strength and intuition she brings to every birth she attends. 🌿💧

Our whole team is just overflowing with joy for her. It is the deepest privilege to midwife a colleague and friend — to hold space for someone who has held space for so many others. That honor is not lost on me. It was extra special to surround her, and also feel surrounded by two great assistants that love me, and love Becky so much. Thank you Rosabeth and Inna for being present for Lainey’s birth.

Welcome to the world, little one, and welcome to being a girl mom, Becky! Can’t wait to have you back in February but also so glad you’re getting all your girl snuggles in right now!

⭐️🎉💕 It was a beautiful day at the office with Jill Davis! She is our favorite sonographer and we are so thrilled to finally have her performing ultrasounds at our location! Two first trimester and three anatomy scans later, we can’t wait to have her back every month. Jill, thank you for the excellent, compassionate care you provide to our clients. We love you!

We are pausing to give thanks - for our clients, our babies, our births and the privilege of walking with families through such sacred moments.

Nothing fills our hearts quite like postpartum visits - especially when it’s one of our own midwives. 💕 We are so in love with this sweet baby (and those cheeks!) and so honored to have walked this journey with her for a third time. Watching our families grow never gets old. 🥰

Hey friends, 🎉
As the holidays approach, our annual sabbatical has begun. 🥰 This is our “wintering” season—a time with no clients due, where we rest and prepare for the year ahead.

‼️ Our midwife line is still active. If you are currently pregnant or within 6 weeks postpartum, please call the usual number for urgent concerns only. Bethany is off call, but our wonderful support midwives—Inna, Becky, Kim, and Kiesha—will rotate call and each has full access to your chart. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re worried.

💕Urgent Pregnancy Concerns (call the midwife line):

-Vaginal bleeding before 37 weeks unrelated to in*******se
-Rhythmic back pain, cramping, or contractions before 37 weeks that don’t resolve with rest/hydration
-Reduced fetal movement (not normal for your baby) after 28 weeks
-Visual disturbances, persistent headache, or high blood pressure
-Excessive nausea/vomiting not helped by natural remedies
-Swelling not relieved by elevating your feet
-Fever above 100°F

⭐️Urgent Postpartum Concerns (call the midwife line):

-Painful or difficult latch
-Damaged ni***es
-No wet diapers in 24 hours or very concentrated wet diapers
-Excessive bleeding
-Feelings of hopelessness, or thoughts of harming yourself or your baby

-Discomforts of pregnancy

Providing individualized, unrushed care is deeply important to us—not just for the families we serve, but also so we can show up as grounded, rested midwives. Because of this intentional approach, our 2026 calendar is already filling up!

💕 If you’re newly pregnant, please reach out to schedule a consult. It’s common for us to be fully booked by the time you are 8 weeks, so don’t wait. If we’re not the right fit or we’re full, we’re always happy to connect you with other wonderful midwives in the area.

The holidays are almost here, and we’ll be continuing routine care for our current clients through Thanksgiving and Christmas. 🎄
➡️ If you’re newly pregnant and thinking about working with us, please reach out soon! We have limited availability for next year and only a few consult spots left before Thanksgiving and Christmas.

📩 It’s best to connect with us early—ideally around 5–6 weeks—so we can start getting you the care and support you need. The first trimester can bring questions about nausea, fatigue, bleeding, or miscarriage concerns, and we want to be available for you during this busy season.
