Outcomes following SARS-CoV-2 infection in patients with chronic liver disease: an international registry study. at bit.ly/2I2GWkt
This study is the largest reported cohort of CLD and cirrhosis patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection to date. The authors demonstrate that baseline liver disease stage and ALD are independent risk factor for death from COVID-19. These data have important implications for the risk stratification of patients with CLD across the globe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
