Today we had the privilege of doing Covid testing for 160 employees at a local Dallas Hotel. Big shoutout to our pharmacy intern Aaron for helping out. We do Covid testing for individuals at the pharmacy and all size businesses!

Beginning today our pharmacy will be able to administer rapid Covid testing for both antigen and antibody testing. Please visit our website for more info on the differences in tests and please schedule your appointment on our website. *All testing will be conducted curbside only* do not enter the pharmacy for testing.

Can you guess what time of the year it is!? Yup, that’s right it’s get your flu shot season!!! If you have yet to get a flu shot the CDC recommends that patients begin to get flu vaccines in October and we now have them in stock! $0 copay with most insurances. (No we don’t give pet immunizations she volunteered to be a model 😁)

PSA: A lot of rumors have been swirling around that wearing masks are for losers/bit@hes. Well Pablo & Eleanor are here to set the record straight. Mask wearing is only for bad bit@hes!!! For those that feel like a minor inconvenience (not violation of your rights) burdens your rights then think of someone other than yourself. At worst a minor inconvenience at best a life saving and preventive action to keep yourself and possibly someone else safe. Does anyone like wearing a mask out in public!? The answer is probably not but look how cute we look in our adorable little masks!!! Please wear a mask and if you need one and can’t afford one we will provide you one for free stop by the pharmacy. Let’s all work together to keep Texas open!!!

This past weekend I went and visited one of our elder patients who just put her dog, Sadi, to sleep. This older women lived by herself and was isolating from others and she seemed very down on the phone 🥺 so we decided to borrow a friends dog and visit her while dropping off some of her prescriptions. It made her week!!!

As an independent locally owned pharmacy we frequently get asked what’s the difference between you and the big chains (CVS & Walgreens)? For us it’s an easy answer! We know our patients mostly by name and not everything we do is tied to making money or impressing shareholders.

With many businesses looking to open up over the next couple of weeks it’s very important that you do your employees and public a service by ensuring your staff is safe and healthy. We just received more infrared contactless thermometers. These are an extremely scarce commodity at the moment!!! With each thermometer we are also printing and including CDC guidelines for what a high temperature is as well as who should be isolated/quarantined based off of certain criteria. It’s extremely important that everyone follows these parameters so that we can safely and effectively open up our businesses without having a spike in new cases.

Our customer service rep, Eleanor, asks that you please wear a mask/covering in public and practice social distancing so she can get back to work!! She’s currently being furloughed at home and is ready to get back to work once everything settles down. Happy Tuesday 😁 🐶
