Can you believe that we have gotten 21 five-star reviews since the beginning of this year?! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
That’s a lotta’ love from a lotta’ families! A common theme in many of the reviews is that families appreciate our attention to details.

🎈We achieve much of that through our Life Celebrations!

🧑‍💼We also hire very creative and professional directors who are thoughtful through and through!

👂A final way we pay such great attention to detail is the fact that we actually LISTEN to our families!

We want to hear about your loved one and their life.

We want to hear about your experiences with other funerals (if you’ve had any).

We want to get to know you, so that when you walk out of our building, you feel like you’ve just talked with a FRIEND rather than a FUNERAL director. 🫶

We want to thank all of the families who not only trusted us to tell their loved ones’ stories but also who took the time to give us a review! These reviews help other families find us and put them at ease when entrusting their loved ones into our care!

If you have had a positive experience with our staff or with one of our Life Celebrations, we encourage you to give us a Google review! Let us know how we did in honoring your loved one!

‼️Heads up to our cemetery families! Crown Hill Memorial Park will being removing cemetery decorations on April 1, 2026! 🚮

📆It's that time of year again! Crown Hill Memorial Park's Spring Cleaning begins next week on April 1, 2026! Please gather any cemetery decorations by April 1st! Any decorations left over will be disposed of by our maintenance team.

With the start of mowing season, our cemetery maintenance crew will begin picking up cemetery decorations that are not flowers in cemetery-approved vases.

Why are we doing this? We have many reasons, but here are the main 3:

🤕It keeps our maintenance crew safe from ricocheting items coming up from the mower blades.

⛓️‍💥It keeps our mowers from breaking down due to things getting sucked up into the blades.

🌱It makes mowing more efficient to ensure that our staff keeps a steady mowing schedule.

We will be posting throughout the week to keep giving reminders to families to pick up their items. Please take advantage of the beautiful weather and come by to pick up cemetery decorations!

If you have any questions or concerns, please give us a call at 214-350-9951.

Did you know that many of our directors are trained in graphic and digital design to create custom personalized products for our families?

Yesterday, one of our senior designers held a training for some of our newer designers in how to use programs to create such works of art to help families heal. If you look closely, we decided to honor the legendary Chuck Norris with his own personalized canvas.

Have one of our designers helped you or your family find healing in the loss of a loved one? Let them know in the comments below!

Today is Pi Day! While some people like the math side of the day, everyone can agree that the pies usually associated with the days are pretty good too!

To celebrate Pi Day, we are giving the recipe to our family’s Lemon Icebox Pie!

Hughes Family Lemon Icebox Pie Recipe

Ingredients:
– 1 graham cracker crust
– 1 can of Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
– 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
– Zest of one lemon
– 3 egg yolks
– Whipped cream for topping

Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, and egg yolks. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
2. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust and smooth it out with a spatula.
3. Place the pie in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours, or until set.
4. Once the pie is set, top it with whipped cream and garnish with lemon slices or zest before serving.

Let us know if you try out the recipe! Happy Pi Day!

This recognition is unique since only 150+ funeral homes receive the award around the world.

The on-site crematory owned by Hughes Family Tribute Center ensures quality services when cremation is selected by the family. A common choice is to pair cremation services with a Life Celebration or memorial. This combination of services provides a time for friends and family to heal from the loss by sharing memories of the loved one. Additionally, the family has flexibility regarding the final resting place since ashes are not limited to cemetery burial. Hughes Family Tribute Center offers various urns and memorial options for the resting place of the ashes if desired.

This Life Celebration funeral home is committed to providing respectful services catered to all personal, cultural, and religious needs. The team offers the same level of care for families from all walks of life, with a goal to represent the diversity of people who live in the Dallas-Fort Worth communities. Hughes Family Tribute Center has experience with a variety of cultural traditions and ceremonies, including Buddhist, Asian, Asian Indian, and Hindu services.
