We had such a wonderful time joining the residents and staff at Creekside Pines for their annual Halloween celebration! It’s always a joy to spend time with our seniors, share a few laughs, and be part of a community that feels like family.

Gently redirect conversations with clients or loved ones experiencing memory loss by acknowledging their feelings, using open-ended questions, and offering gentle reminders.

Keep them on track by engaging them in shared activities and use nonverbal cues like a warm smile. Repeat key words to keep them on track, avoid arguments, and use sensory stimulation to help them connect. Be patient and understanding throughout the interaction, as confusion is very common.
