Today, we’re proud to recognize the physicians who make MSA what it is.

Behind every appointment, every diagnosis, and every follow-up is a team of doctors committed to thoughtful, patient-first care. Their experience, attention to detail, and dedication to doing things the right way are what allow us to serve our community with consistency and trust—day in and day out.

To our physicians: thank you for the care you provide, the relationships you build, and the difference you make in the lives of so many.

And to our patients—thank you for trusting us with your health.

What actually happens at your annual check-up? 🩺

It’s more than a quick visit — it’s a full review of your health, tailored to you.

At MSA Dallas, your annual may include:
• Preventative screenings based on your age and risk factors
• Recommended vaccinations
• A review of your diet, exercise, and lifestyle habits
• Lab work (cholesterol, thyroid, and more)
• Time to talk through any concerns

…and anything else that’s relevant to you and your health goals.
No two visits look exactly the same — because no two patients are the same.

Preventative care isn’t about reacting when something is wrong — it’s about staying ahead of it.

If it’s been over a year since your last check-up, this is your sign.

If you’re 45 or older, colon cancer screening should officially be on your radar.

Guidelines changed in response to rising cases in younger adults — and many people still don’t realize the starting age is now 45.

There are multiple screening options available, including colonoscopy (the gold standard), stool-based tests, and even blood tests in certain cases. The right option depends on your individual risk and health history.

The good news? Early detection dramatically improves outcomes.

At MSA, we help you understand your risk, your family history, and your screening options — so nothing slips through the cracks.

When it comes to cancer screenings, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach.

From genetic testing to blood-based screening options, today’s tools can help identify risk, detect early markers, or give you clarity about what’s going on in your body.

At MSA Dallas, our role is to help you understand what’s appropriate for you — based on your history, your concerns, and your overall health.

Because sometimes the goal is taking action early…
and sometimes it’s simply peace of mind.

If you’ve been thinking about screening, call our office or visit https://www.msadallas.com/ to get started.

Good health isn’t about chance, it’s about what you do consistently:

✅ checkups
✅ movement
✅ nutrition
✅ sleep

That’s the kind of “gold” that actually compounds over time.

At MSA Dallas, we focus on preventive care that keeps you ahead — not playing catch-up.

🍀 This is your sign to schedule that checkup.

Fiber does more than support digestion — it plays an important role in cholesterol management, blood sugar regulation, and long-term heart health.

Foods like oats, lentils, chia seeds, beans, berries, pears, broccoli, and whole grains are rich in fiber and can help lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol while supporting more stable glucose levels.

For adults navigating prediabetes, elevated cholesterol, constipation, or midlife weight changes, fiber is often one of the simplest ways to support better metabolic health.

At MSA Dallas, we use lab results and medical history to guide personalized nutrition recommendations — because the most effective changes are the ones built around your individual health picture.

If it’s been more than a year since your last blood panel, this is a great time to check in.

The culture inside a medical practice matters — because it shapes how care is delivered every single day.

At MSA Dallas, our team is guided by five core values: Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.

These aren’t just words on a wall. They’re the principles that guide how our physicians and staff communicate, collaborate, and care for every individual who walks through our doors.

When healthcare is rooted in trust, empathy, and responsibility, better outcomes follow — and patients feel the difference.

Reminder: nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Foods that are widely labeled as “heart healthy” — like bananas, spinach, or sweet potatoes — may be beneficial for some people.

But for others, especially those with kidney disease, diabetes, or certain medications, those same foods may need to be limited based on lab results.

This is something we see often in internal medicine. And it’s also why balance matters — even healthy foods can become a problem if they’re consumed in excess. Too much of anything is usually not a good thing.

At MSA Dallas, we don’t give blanket dietary advice. We look at your labs, your medications, and your overall health picture before making recommendations. When appropriate, we also collaborate with registered dietitian nutritionists to build a plan tailored specifically to you.
Good nutrition starts with good data.

If you haven’t reviewed your labs this year, let’s start there.
