December 9th will mark the end of a beloved chapter for me — my final weekly class at Raw and Juicy / Hibiscus Guesthouse. Over the past four years, I have been blessed to teach many special souls in this zen garden space, through your (and my) personal milestones, growth, grief, and beyond.

To my regulars who I’ve been so grateful to share practice with weekly across these many years, I want to reiterate how much these years together have meant to me. It’s truly been a deep honor to be your teacher, entrusted to hold space for all of these big and small moments. Between summers and winters, big classes and small, series of Yogic study of many kinds, and the by-demand special focuses, we have truly lived life together. It will not be forgotten, and held close to my heart. You are the meaning, the value, the vision, the why.

To those who have joined in passing, it was a joy to host you. It’s been so fun to meet new faces, both visitors and locals and in-between! I appreciate you spending time with us.

To my host teams throughout the years at Hibiscus Guesthouse and to Jenifer K***z and Swan Michelle who have led the Raw and Juicy Wellness Collective initiative this year, thank you for having me and for all the work you continue to do here.

To everyone, I hope you will stay connected and join me out in the community as the future unfolds. I hope you will also continue to support the wellness efforts at Raw and Juicy! Swan and Jen will continue at the helm of beautiful things to come.

What’s next for me: I will be taking some time in 2026 to focus on private clients and other pressing personal responsibilities. I will post here with any class announcements once I have solidified future plans to reenter the public service space. For private 1:1 and group classes, I will remain available for appointments by request with daily/weekly availability. DM me to set something up!

Diwali commemorates the victory of good over evil and is celebrated across five days with lamp lighting, feasts, fireworks, prayer, and time with family and friends. The word Diwali is derived from the Sanskrit word Deepavali, meaning “row of lights,” which are lit during the festival to represent the light that guards against spiritual darkness, the illumination within all of us that overcomes evil with good and ignorance with knowledge, and letting old energy out so new energy can come in.

Thoroughly enjoyed teaching Meditation and Mindfulness tonight as part of the YTT! ✨ It was such a joy to educate around brain science and the scientific benefits of Mindfulness and Meditation, talk about principles of mindful living, discuss history and Yogic philosophy, and share in a few styles of Meditation and Mindfulness practices. Could have filled so many more hours with the rich content and conversations we had!
