Soul's Harbor

Soul's Harbor Helping men help themselves. A recovery shelter combining the 12 steps and work therapy to break the cycle of addiction and homelessness.

Soul's Harbor is a home for men seeking healing, stability, and a fresh start. Soul’s Harbor is a 501(c)3 member organization composed of a varied membership of stakeholders committed to “…helping men help themselves, and breaking the cycle of homelessness…”. Soul’s Harbor is more than a shelter. Soul’s Harbor offers the men of our shelter a six month program that provides the basic tools that will help facilitate their reintegration back into society, if they actively participate in our program and utilize the tools that Soul’s Harbor provides.

Behind every great meal at Harbor, there are people like Ashley Yellathang Dickerson ⚓️

We are beyond proud to announce Ashley as the recipient of our very first Harbor Anchor Award! For 5 years, Ashley has been "spreading buttery joy" in our kitchen alongside our manager, Rick Dalton. Whether it’s her unwavering dedication or her talent for making every dish feel like home, she is the glue that keeps our kitchen family together.

Ashley was recently profiled in our newsletter—stop by, grab a bite, and be sure to give her a high-five if you see her! Thank you for everything, Ashley! 🥂✨

We are so grateful for every volunteer that helps make what we do possible!

North Texas Giving Day is TODAY !!!

Starting today on Thursday, September 18, from 6 AM to midnight, Soul’s Harbor Homeless Shelter will be participating in North Texas Giving Day. Thanks to help from generous givers and sponsors, Communities Foundation of Texas covers all transaction and technology fees. This means that 100% of every online gift goes directly to the organizations you choose.

An anonymous donor will match gifts up to $15,000, thus making your dollar go even further. Just remember to get up and give - whether out of bed, from your desk, or off your couch, just give! Please go to: to:

https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/donate/souls-harbor-inc

and enter your donor information. Your donation will go a long way in helping us provide the best substance abuse treatment for our homeless men in the Dallas area.
