Not all exhaustion is the same.
And how you respond to it matters.
Sometimes it’s stress — your system is overloaded.
Sometimes it’s dysregulation — your body cannot settle.
Sometimes it’s deeper — a disconnection from self.
When we don’t recognize the difference,
we try to solve the wrong problem.
• We rest when we actually need regulation
• We push when we actually need emotional repair
• We distract when we actually need reconnection
This is why healing can feel confusing.
Because the body, mind, and soul each speak a different language.
Healing becomes clearer when we pause and ask:
“What does this part of me actually need right now?”
Not all tiredness needs sleep.
Some of it needs safety.
Some of it needs truth.
Some of it needs to be gently felt.
Different pain requires different care.
