🧸 Is it "just a toy"... or is it their whole world? 🧸

We’ve all seen it: the tattered ears, the missing button eye, and that very specific smell that only a well-loved "lovey" can have. But did you know that raggedy stuffed animal is actually a developmental powerhouse? 🏗️✨

In this week’s episode, we are diving deep into The Sacred Bond of the Lovey. We’re talking about:

❤️ Secure Attachment: Why a lovey isn't a sign of "clinginess," but a bridge to true independence.
🗣️ The Secret Language: How kids use their lovies to tell us things they don't have the words for yet.
patch The "Surgery" Dilemma: Do you secretly replace a worn-out lovey, or do you repair it together? (Hint: It’s a huge teaching moment! 🧵)
🚫 The "Big Kid" Myth: Why forcing a child to give up their comfort object too soon can actually backfire on their sense of security.

Whether your house is currently run by a "blankie," a "bear-bear," or a "silky," this episode is for you. Let’s learn how to respect the objects that help our little ones feel brave in a big world. 🌍💕

👇 I want to hear from YOU!
What is your child’s lovey’s name? Is it a classic teddy, or something totally unique (like a spatula or a specific washcloth)? Tell me in the comments! ⬇️

03/17/2026

Am I "too old" for a stuffed animal? 👵🧸

MYTH: Kids should "grow out" of their loveys by preschool or they’ll be socially awkward. ❌

TRUTH: Many adults still have their childhood loveys! 🛌 Research shows that these objects continue to provide comfort during high-stress transitions (like moving to college or starting a new job) well into adulthood. There is no "expiration date" on comfort. ✅

Teaser: Be honest... do you still have yours? 🙋‍♀️ Check out the vlog this Friday to see why it’s okay to keep the love alive! 💖🎬

Remember that tattered, loved-to-pieces stuffie you couldn't go anywhere without? 🧸

From navigating first days of school to brave bedtime routines, those special 'loveys' played a HUGE role in our early worlds! Punch the Monkey is helping us explore exactly how these fluffy friends shape us, but we want to hear YOUR stories!

We're collecting amazing 'lovey' experiences for an upcoming vlog! Tell us:

What was your lovey? (A blanket, a specific teddy, a worn-out sock... anything goes!)

What did you name it?

Share a quick story! How did your lovey help you feel safe, brave, or navigate a big moment? We're looking for examples of healthy attachment!

Comment below, or DM us if you prefer privacy! We can't wait to share these powerful (and maybe a little messy!) tales of lovey power in the full video coming soon! 💖✨

Every year, we make wishes for ourselves, but this year, my wish is actually for YOU. 🕯️🤍

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to take initiative and dive into that dream, this is it. I want you to be unapologetically yourself.

Pursue those passions, start those creative projects, and chase the goals that keep you up at night with excitement. 🚀🎨

Don’t let anyone stop you.
Don’t let fear of judgment or guilt hold you back.
You don’t owe anyone a version of yourself that doesn’t feel real anymore. 🙅‍♀️✨

And remember: it is perfectly okay to change your mind. If you need to pivot or head in a completely different direction, do it with your head held high.

No guilt. No regrets. Just growth. 🌱💫

Thank you for all the love today. Now go out there and be brave for me! 🥂🎂💖

❤️ DON’T SKIP A BEAT ❤️

February is American Heart Month, a time to prioritize your heart and turn awareness into action! Since heart disease remains a leading cause of death, focus on these four pillars of prevention to keep your heart strong.

❤️ 4 Steps to a Healthier Heart
🥗 Eat for Your Heart: Prioritize whole, nutrient-dense foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Aim to limit highly processed foods, added sugars, and sodium.

🚭 Quit for Good: Smoking is a major cause of preventable heart disease. Quitting entirely—at any age—immediately starts improving your heart rate and reducing your risk of heart attack.

🏃‍♂️ Get Moving: Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week (like brisk walking) or 75 minutes of vigorous activity. Don't forget muscle-strengthening exercises at least 2 days a week!

💤 Prioritize Rest & Stress: Quality sleep (7–9 hours) and managing stress are essential for long-term cardiovascular health.

When the relationship feels like a "dad and child" dynamic, it’s easy to feel like you’ve disappointed someone when scans, imaging, or lab results don't go as planned. 📉🚫

Healthcare shouldn't feel like getting a bad grade on a report card. It should feel like a team working toward the same goal.

Highlights include:
• Why vulnerability requires a foundation of friendship. 🗣️
• Moving past the fear of "disappointing" your provider. 🙅‍♂️
• Building trust that goes beyond the clinical chart. 📈

This Friday’s episode is a deeply personal one for me. ❤️
In this sneak peek, Dr. Vejayan shares the story of her grandfather, who she lost to a heart attack. It’s a loss that changed her perspective forever and fueled our passions for preventative health.
We aren't just talking about stats; we’re talking about more years with the people we love.

That’s why we are launching our "Wear Red Initiative" this Friday. 🚩
We’re asking our community to wear red as a visual commitment to heart health and prevention. Watch the reel to find out the deeper reason why we’re championing this cause and how you can get involved.

📍 New Episode drops this Friday!

Wait… did I just spend 45 minutes in a waiting room with a toddler and a lukewarm coffee just to see the doctor for 5 minutes? 🫠☕️

As moms, our "to-do" list doesn't have a "pause" button.

Between school runs, work @ meetings, and the endless laundry cycle, we don't have time to sit in sterile waiting rooms or navigate the "lab work" maze. 🏃‍♀️

That’s why I’m bringing the doctor to YOU.

🩺🏠 Whether it’s virtual or right in your living room, concierge primary care means:

✅ Zero travel time (and no packing the diaper bag for a 20-minute drive).
✅ No waiting rooms (no germ-sharing with strangers! 🙅‍♀️).
✅ Better outcomes because we actually have time to talk about your health, not just your symptoms.

Protect your family time and get back to what matters most. Health care should fit your life, not the other way around. ✨💓

Schedule your Provider Meet & Greet and see how we're changing the game for busy families 🌈✨

🎓🙌 So proud to see this recognition for being a wonderful educator!

This is exactly why I chose this collaboration for my patients. In a world of "15-minute medicine," we’re doing things differently. We value:

• Time: Non rushed appointments.
• Education: Understanding your heart, not just reading a lab report.
• Connection: A true partnership in your care.

Congrats on the well-deserved award! 🥂
