🎁 This Giving Tuesday, please join us in advocating for those who can’t themselves.

Yes, the holidays are tight for many of us. Wrapping gifts, budgeting dinners, planning travel… but for far too many, the season is no escape. In fact:

– A Mass General Brigham national study found that of 21 million assault-related injury visits nearly 15% occurred during holidays — and holidays such as New Year’s Eve are especially high-risk for IPV.

– December-specific data shows domestic violence rise at least 20% compared to other months.

The truth is that million-dollar headlines are rare... Organizations like EndingIPV.org don’t rely on giant gifts to survive — we thrive because individuals like you give $25, $50 or whatever they can.

And if you’re not able to give money today — that’s okay. The most meaningful contribution you CAN make is sharing our message.
• Tag someone who might care.
• Post this to your feed or story.
• Send the link to a friend.

Every share expands the reach of our work. Every comment fosters awareness. And every one of us speaking up helps change cultures.

This holiday season, while we’re counting blessings, let’s also count our neighbors in crisis. Because for someone, the “home for the holidays” is a place of fear — not comfort.

Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for sharing hope. 🙏

Domestic violence and intimate partner violence increase sharply during the holiday season.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline reports that calls for help jump nearly 20% between Thanksgiving and New Year’s as financial stress, travel, family dynamics, and isolation intensify existing abuse.

We are working to get EndingIPV’s evidence-based training curriculum into EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement, healthcare settings, and community organizations before the next wave of preventable harm hits... But we can’t do it without you.

If you’re able, even a $25 or $50 contribution helps us print materials, train instructors, and place support resources directly into the hands of the people responding to these calls every day.

If you can’t donate today, sharing this post helps more than you know.
Your share could be the ripple that reaches someone who can help… or someone who needs help.

Let’s protect families.

Let’s support survivors.

Let’s stop the cycle, together.

It’s important for all of us — whether or not we’ve personally experienced abuse, to understand the importance of boundaries and not excepting harmful behavior. Boundaries are essential to a healthy relationship and important to understand when supporting a friend, colleague, or loved one who may be experiencing abuse.

Being in a relationship with someone who doesn’t respect your boundaries or even harms you is incredibly difficult. No one should face that alone.
Together, we can build safer communities by listening, learning, and ensuring survivors know support is always within reach.

Do you work in childcare ?
Do you have kids in day care ?
Do you think it would be valuable to differentiate a splinter from a Pit Viper bite???

THAT is exactly the type of training that our Immediate Responder for Childcare course offers!

A North Carolina family claims their child's day care didn't call 911 when the boy was bit by a copperhead on the playground.
