Type 1 Telehealth

Type 1 Telehealth Virtual direct care by providers who live with T1D themselves—because we get it.

04/21/2026

Type 1 Telehealth actually gets it.

Managing Type 1 shouldn’t feel like a full-time job, but somehow, it does.

Constant decisions.
Endless adjustments.
Appointments that don’t fit your life.

You deserve better:
• faster adjustments
• real, ongoing support
• care that fits your schedule
• virtual endo visits from your apartment or dorm

That’s why we built Type 1 Telehealth.

Care that works with your life — not against it.

You don’t need to keep interrupting your life for diabetes care.

Evening + weekend visits exist for a reason.

We built them because we wished we had them as patients that worked full time —
and because those holiday week spots were always the first to go when we used to see patients M–F, 8–5.

– no leaving work
– no missing class
– no rushing through your appointment

Just better care, on your time.

Lifestyle changes with T1D aren’t just about motivation—they’re about constant adjustment.

Insulin, timing, carbs, activity… and sometimes lows still crash the party.

You’re not doing it wrong. It’s just complex. 🤍

04/15/2026

Walking into a type 1 diabetes diagnosis shouldn’t come with a waiting period.

We still see patients being told to wait weeks to months to establish care with endocrinology—and that’s something we don’t agree with.

Early support matters.
Early insulin optimization matters.
And yes—early access to emerging therapies and clinical trials can matter too.

With type 1 telehealth, we’re able to:
• See patients within the same week
• Build a personalized treatment plan from day one
• Prescribe and adjust medications quickly
• Help you explore research opportunities aimed at preserving beta cell function

You deserve support now, not eventually.

You know you’re a founder in the T1D space when every new device drop feels personally relevant.

Omnipod. Tandem. Twiist. Libre. Dexcom. (The list goes on…)
Do we need to understand every single one? Absolutely.

Because building something meaningful in this space means staying curious, staying a little obsessed… and yes, having a touch of FOMO when innovation moves fast.

The goal isn’t just to keep up—
it’s about bringing the best of what’s out there to our patients.

It’s about personally understanding the difference in algorithms where a basal adjustment makes far more of a difference than sensitivity factor adjustment.

It’s about helping our patients navigate menu settings instead of just saying “change the insulin to carb ratio to this” and leaving the room.

If you live with T1D… you get it.

Texas residents, we would love to become your new diabetes provider. Send us a message for more info.

If I was planning pregnancy with type 1 again, here’s exactly what I’d adjust:

1. Lower my high alert to 140 mg/dL:
I’m all for living life and letting post-meal spikes ride under 180… but pregnancy = tighter goals. The quicker the alert, the better the prevention.

2. Drop my target glucose as low as safely possible
(looking at you 87 mg/dL 👀)
Without increasing lows—this is key.

3. Get a second set of eyes on ALL my settings
Yes, I’m a PA with T1D… and I still don’t do this alone.
Fresh perspective = better patterns, better outcomes.

We specialize in diabetes care before, during, and after pregnancy—and we’ve lived it ourselves.

No long drives. No generic advice, judgement, or guilt trips. Just care that gets it.

Tell me, were you told that your baby would be too large just because you have diabetes? (This was my first pregnancy experience)

If your current appointments feel like:

“👍 looks fine… try harder”

…yeah, we’ve heard that one before.

Living with T1D is already a full-time job—you deserve more than vague advice and a 3-month goodbye.

We break down your data, your patterns, your real life—and actually help you adjust things that matter.

If you’ve ever felt like it’s “your fault”…
it probably isn’t.

There’s a difference between being prescribed a device and actually knowing how to live with it.

Because yes, we’re adjusting basal rates 🤓
AND figuring out where your pump goes in that dress

We’re a PA and NP with type 1 diabetes
and this is the kind of care we wish we had
