It’s been quite awhile since I’ve been on social media. This post is intended to keep those who care updated on whats happening.
I was in an incident that happened mid January that resulted in me getting hurt. I sprained my left ankle and broke both right leg bones at the ankle (I did not break both my legs-just both bones of my right leg). The past 7 weeks have been extremely tough in more ways than one. I haven’t been able to walk, drive, work or do much for myself in any major way for that matter. Some things are getting easier but the journey isn’t over yet.
I want to thank those who have loved on me & my family and helped in any way whether that was mailing sweet cards, calling/texting, setting up a meal train account-cooking/delivering a meal, gift cards, praying, grocery deliveries etc. This incident has taught me a lot about a lot but mostly that my little family and I are loved by some of the most precious people (and that my husband is the most amazing caregiver that I could ever ask for). I’m forever grateful for every single one of you.
I still have several weeks before I can start to walk with full pressure and I know my clients are eager to have me working again (as am I) so I just want to assure those of you who are waiting that I will be back as soon as absolutely possible.
Please know that I am missing each and every single one of you and that’s the honest truth. I love what I do. I have some of the most precious clients (friends) and it’s not lost on me-especially now, how blessed I am to be able to do something that I love and that makes a difference in others lives. I’ll ultimately have to listen to my body before I can fully return to my “normal” hours but rest assured that I will persevere to get back there as quickly as I possibly can. I am aiming for April. Thank you for the love and patience you’ve shown me through this and please continue to pray for complete healing for me in Jesus name.
I love you all!
