🎄 ’Twas the Night Before Christmas — Foundation Direct Family Care Edition
’Twas the night before Christmas,
and all through the clinic,
Not a chart was left open,
no rushed care, no cynic.
The stethoscopes rested,
the lights dimmed just right,
As Dalton grew quiet
on this holy, still night.
Throughout the year,
we had listened and cared,
For worries and wins
that our families all shared.
We talked through the hard days,
the questions, the fears,
And celebrated healing,
the milestones, the years.
No paperwork piles,
no hurried goodbyes,
Just time, honest care,
and familiar faces and eyes.
