We are thrilled to celebrate Rachel Dodge, RN, CMSRN, Med-Surg Charge Nurse at MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital, for receiving the Emerging Nurse Leadership Award from the Organization of Maine Nurse Leaders (OMNL)!

Rachel was recognized for her innovation, mentorship and dedication to advancing nursing practice and patient care. The award was presented on October 3 at the OMNL Annual Meeting.

“Her impact extends far beyond her immediate team, shaping a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and growth that not only strengthens staff but also meaningfully improves patient outcomes,” wrote Beth Kessler, MaineHealth Coastal Region Director of Clinical and Professional Development, in her nomination.

MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital is launching a new Perinatal Pelvic Health Seminar Series to support new and expecting mothers with education, strategies and resources for pelvic health.

Join our team of pelvic health physical therapists, women’s health nurses and providers for a welcoming session focused on postpartum recovery — including tips for lifting and carrying newborns, returning safely to exercise, and understanding how breathing supports your pelvic floor.

This free seminar is open to anyone who is pregnant, postpartum, or interested in learning more about postpartum recovery.

The Miles Memorial Hospital League Art Committee invites area artists to apply for the 2026 exhibit season at the MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital Hall Gallery. Six shows will be scheduled, each running about two months.

Artists should have 15–20 available works and must not have exhibited in the past three years. Paintings, drawings, original prints and photography will be considered.

📅 Submission Day: Tuesday, Oct. 21, 9 a.m.
📍 Location: Arrowsmith Building, 40 Belvedere Rd, Damariscotta
Please bring three representative pieces, a short bio, and a price range. Jury results will be shared Oct. 22.
