📊 What the data tells us about therapist impact—long after discharge

We analyzed outcomes from 13 therapists and 185 client discharges spanning 2019–2025, tracking clinical progress from admission through up to 5 years post-discharge.

🔍 What we measured

GAD-7, PHQ-9, and PWI outcomes from admission to long-term follow-up

(WAI and Length of Stay measured from admission to discharge only)

📈 What we found
Therapists with CPI scores of 85+ consistently outperformed those scoring below 85 across all long-term outcomes:

✔ Greater improvement in depression (PHQ-9)
✔ Greater improvement in well-being (PWI)
✔ Greater improvement in anxiety (GAD-7)

💡 The takeaway
Stronger therapeutic alliance doesn’t just improve treatment experience — it drives measurable, lasting outcomes years after care ends.
